Palo, Leyte – The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office – VIII (BJMPRO-VIII), under the leadership of Regional Director JCSUPT RILL F SONON, DSC, JD, held its Traditional Monday Flag Ceremony on October 19, 2026, at the BJMPRO-VIII Main Conference Room.

As part of the ceremony, JO3 Michael Jhon L Avelino, staff of the Regional Health Services Division (RHSD), served as the weekly values speaker, highlighting the importance of Humility in fostering respect, integrity, and professionalism in public service.

The ceremony was attended by Division Chiefs, Heads of Offices, Jail Officer Ranks (JORs), Jail Non-Officer Ranks (JNORs), and JO1 Trainees, reaffirming their shared commitment to discipline, professionalism, and dedicated public service.
