The PCA Region VIII successfully concluded the Specialized Training Course on Coconut Agrotechnology on August 7, 2026, at Villaconzoilo Farm, Jaro, Leyte, marking 12 days of intensive learning, hands-on practicum, teamwork, and meaningful experiences.

๐ŸŽ“ Congratulations to the 40 participants, composed of Agriculturists and Coconut Development Officers from Regions I, II, CAR, V, and VIII, for successfully completing the course! Your dedication, active participation, and enthusiasm throughout the training made this learning journey truly meaningful.

The culmination activities highlighted the achievements and contributions of everyone who made the training a success, including the awarding of Certificates of Participation to the participants and Certificates of Appreciation to the Resource Persons, facilitators, and stakeholders who generously shared their expertise, time, and support throughout the course.

The activity also recognized the outstanding participants and exemplary group performances through the presentation of awards and prizes, celebrating their hard work, teamwork, creativity, and commitment throughout the 12-day training.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our dedicated Resource Persons for generously sharing their expertise and providing valuable hands-on learning opportunities. Day 10 focused on the lecture on Extension Principles, Approaches, and Methods, delivered by Darwin P. Hernandez, Senior Agriculturist โ€“ Leyte I. The session provided participants with essential knowledge and practical insights into effective agricultural extension and farmer engagement.
