Artists – they make our communities colorful and vibrant. It’s time for us to put a smile in their faces and let them know they are remembered. In these challenging times, no one should be left behind.

LEYTEAM is proud to partner with the youth from 13 countries to show their solidarity to our freelance artists in the towns of Alangalang, Barugo and Palo, Leyte. We have successfully distributed relief packs to those individuals whose source of income was solely in the Entertainment and Culture and the Arts sector. This project was a success because of our collaborative efforts with International Artists Movement, PALOve as One Project, SK Barugo, SK Palo, SK Alangalang and local volunteers.

Today, as we celebrate our Fiesta in honor of the Most Holy Trinity, let's not also forget that this year marks the Centennial Year, yes! 100th year of the establishment of our main Municipal Hall.

It was reported that General MacArthur passed one evening in Alangalang when our municipality became the emergency capital of the province after the fall of Corregidor in May 1942.
