“Kumusta.”

(expression) a greeting that asks about one’s condition, a simple check-in that carries care and connection

Kumusta is a word we use without expecting an answer, but the times when we quietly hope someone truly listens. Though it seems like an ordinary word, it carries depth and it becomes an invitation to be seen, heard, and understood. In a fast-paced world where people often hide what they feel, kamusta turns into a bridge that opens space for honesty, comfort, and even healing.

"Usahay, an pinakamaopay nga istorya nagtitikang la ha usa ka sinsero nga “kumusta.”

The Supreme Student Government (SSG) introduces Fast Care Stations: Campus Health, Always Ready, designed for all PIT students who need quick and easy access to first aid. These stations will be placed in key areas across the campus, ready to assist with minor injuries and sudden health concerns especially during busy school days this semester.

Stay safe, PITnians!

"Free"

(verb) to let go, to release

Freedom is not something you find outside of yourself—it is something you choose within. It happens when you stop holding on to what is already hurting you, and finally allow yourself to move forward.

You are not meant to stay where you were broken. You are meant to outgrow it, outlive it, and rise above it. Every release is a step closer to peace.

And in that moment you choose yourself, you finally breathe lighter again.

Buhian na nimo ang bug-at, ug hatagan ug kahigayunan ang imong kaugalingon sa tinuod nga kalinaw.

PIT-SSG in action, leadership in motion.

Medmar Blaire Sanchez, ASCO Governor, and Kyle Relon, Assistant Press Secretary, together with Student Organizations Coordinator Mate Jerome D. Gecain, carried the banner of the PIT-Supreme Student Government at the 9th Philippines Transformative Approaches to Innovative Leadership (TRAIL) Leaders’ Camp, organized by Youthlead Philippines, Inc. held at DepEd Ecotech Center, Lahug, Cebu City from April 14–20, 2026.

Their presence was more than attendance—it was representation. A reflection of the PIT’s commitment to amplify student voices, strengthen leadership, and take part in building communities grounded in service and transformation. Through this experience, they bring back not just learnings, but a renewed vision to lead with purpose and inspire others to do the same.

AMBULATE IN LUMINE FIDEI.
Walk in the light of faith.

“Paglaum.”

(noun/verb) hope; to keep believing that something better is still possible, even when things feel hard.

Paglaum is the steady hand that holds you when things get shaky. Even when everything are stressful, expectations feel heavy, or you feel lost, remember that your story is not over yet. It is that little voice inside you saying, "Don't give up yet." You may not have everything figured out right now, and that’s okay. What matters is you keep showing up and trust that your efforts will lead you somewhere good.

"Mga pangandoy ayaw kalimti, ayaw hunugi, LAUMI hinuon kini!"

“Carpe Diem.”

(verb phrase) to seize the day; to take intentional action and make the most of the present moment rather than waiting for the “perfect time.”

Carpe Diem reminds us that time is fleeting, and every day is an opportunity to grow, decide, and move closer to the life we envision. It is not just about bold actions, but also about appreciating small wins, learning from failures, and choosing to show up fully in the present.

It shows us that time does not last long, and every day can be used to develop and decide to come closer to achieving the dreams we have made for ourselves.
Ayaw sayangi ang adlaw nga gihatag sa ato. Buhata tanang makapa-lipay nimo. Bahalag hinay ang lakang, basta padayon lang.

Carpe Diem!

(verb) to withstand hardship, to remain strong through difficulty.

Not every day will feel easy, but every step you take matters. Strength is not always loud—sometimes, it is simply choosing to endure.
