Agenda: Earthquake Preparedness for Sitios located within and near the Active Fault Line System of Pamplona, Negros Oriental

The Local Government Unit of Pamplona - MDRRMC under the leadership of Mayor Nikko Ramirez through the MDRRMO in coordination with PHIVOLCS Sibulan Seismic Station thru Sir Jo Molas, successfully conducted a "sitio assembly" which gathered residents, local leaders, and emergency response personnel to discuss risk awareness, proper response protocols, and safety measures tailored to their high-risk location.

The activity aimed to:
📌strengthen local readiness and resilience against earthquake hazards.

📌 identify of active fault zones, early warning signs, immediate protective actions, evacuation routes, and the organization of local response teams.

📌 ensure that every household understood their role in minimizing risks and safeguarding lives during seismic events.
