A truly unexpected honor!

The SK Calawat Council and the Barangay Council of Calawat were deeply humbled to receive a Plaque of Appreciation during the Flag Raising Ceremony this Monday, June 22, 2026, at the Pamplona Municipal Hall Grounds.

We honestly did not expect to receive this award, which recognizes Barangay Calawat as the very first implementer of the Barangay-Level Firefighting and Rescue Olympics among the 17 barangays of Pamplona.

The 𝟭𝙨𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙩 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧-𝙕𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙪𝙚 𝙊𝙡𝙮𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙨 was successfully held on June 7, 2026, under the expert guidance and invaluable support of the BFP R5 Pamplona Fire Station, led by its former Officer-in-Charge, SFO4 Dario Panerio, JD, LPT.

This successful event was held in compliance with DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-40, which mandates the implementation of localized disaster preparedness and community resilience programs.

This milestone marks Hon. Ariane Jugueta as the first-ever SK Chairperson to successfully organize this vital event—𝑎 𝑓𝑒𝑎𝑡 𝑚𝑎𝑑𝑒 𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑓 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙆 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡, the 𝑢𝑛𝑤𝑎𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑢𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡 of Punong Barangay Hon. Romeo B. Casiao, and the active participation of our community: our general residents, the youth, health staff, Barangay Tanods, and Barangay Officials.



Although SK Chairperson Hon. Ariane Jugueta and Barangay Captain Hon. Romeo B. Casiao were unable to attend the ceremony due to prior commitments, they would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the LGU Pamplona , under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Manuel O. Agustin, for this inspiring recognition.

Introducing the digitized process for LGUs submitting Projects and Program requests to the National Government: The 𝙐𝙂𝙉𝘼𝙔𝘼𝙉𝙂 𝘽𝘼𝙔𝘼𝙉 𝙋𝙊𝙍𝙏𝘼𝙇 🫶🏻✨

Through this platform, now, LGUs can connect with the National Government in just a few clicks. Barangays can seamlessly create project proposals and submit them directly to national government portals for review and approval.

​The Ceremonial Declaration of the Insurgency Status of the Municipality of Pamplona was organized by the 9th Infantry Battalion of the 9th Infantry Division, Philippine Army.

This declaration is strengthened through a resolution under the leadership of LGU Pamplona, led by Mayor Hon. Manuel O. Agustin. The event was made possible through the service of our Army, PNP, BFP, and other uniformed personnel, and was attended by department heads, Barangay officials, and SK Chairpersons of the 17 barangays of Pamplona, Camarines Sur.

​This isn't just a simple ceremony of signing papers and a wall of commitment.

​This is an indication of peace and freedom, as well as the collective efforts of our brave law enforcement, security forces, and every sector of the community.

​With the Municipality of Pamplona meeting the parameters,

​we are now declared to have 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 (𝙎𝙄𝙋𝙎) 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙨.

𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 emerges as the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝘂𝗽 during the 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, held yesterday, 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at 𝗣𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗮, 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿. This event was part of the weeklong fiesta celebration of LGU Pamplona, made possible through the collaborative efforts of 𝗕𝗙𝗣 𝗥𝟱 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 under the supervision of 𝗦𝗙𝗢𝟰 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗟. 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, 𝗝𝗗, 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿-𝗜𝗻-𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲, and the support of the 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗮 led by our 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗢. 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻.

We are beyond proud to bring home the trophy for our dear Barangay. That trophy was earned through the combined strength, determination, and united goal of the Calawat youth—to be equipped with necessary rescue and firefighting skills so we can be of service to anyone in need.

The trophy was the result of endured abrasions on our hands (from sliding against the spine board while lifting victims), swollen toes (from practicing proper kneeling positions on the rough cement floor), and using spare clothes as makeshift bandages whenever equipment was unavailable. We even practiced in the dark, relying only on moonlight and a flashlight during our final session since the covered court was occupied. We even survived the "drama" of stubbornness and sulking between members and the coach (lol).

Our deepest appreciation to all the BFP personnel who guided us, to the assigned BFP personnel in Barangay Calawat Sir Junard Enriquez for supporting us, to our Coach who mentored us, to Barangay Kagawad John Vincent Casiao for his presence, and to the Calawat residents who watched and cheered. Most especially, thank you to our youth participants who showed incredible enthusiasm throughout both the practices and the competition itself.

The Firefighting and Rescue Seminar-Training 2026 was a resounding success, made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Barangay Calawat Council, led by Hon. Romeo B. Casiao; the SK Calawat , chaired by Hon. Ariane P. Jugueta; and the vital support of BFP R5 Pamplona personnel, helmed by SFO4 Dario L. Panerio, LPT, JD, Officer-in-Charge.

This activity was conducted in preparation for the upcoming 2nd Rescue and Firefighting Olympics on May 2, 2026, as well as the highly anticipated 1st Calawat Inter-Zone Firefighting and Rescue Olympics 2026 on June 7.
Participating delegates and the CFAG Community (including BNS, BHW, Barangay Tanods, the Barangay and SK Councils, youth, and general residents) underwent the proper sequence of every station—from assembly and briefing to equipment checks, the ex*****on of Rescue and Transfer, Firefighting (Bucket Relay), and Hose and Nozzle Management. This ensured an organized, efficient, and systematic flow of training.

We extend our deepest appreciation to the BFP R5 Pamplona Fire Station for the time, effort, and expertise shared with the residents of Barangay Calawat. Beyond preparing for the upcoming competitions, this training empowers us to remain skilled and ready to assist one another during real-life emergencies.

BFP R5 Pamplona personnel, under the leadership of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟒 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐋 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨, 𝐋𝐏𝐓, 𝐉𝐃, 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫-𝐢𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞, successfully conducted a Rescue and Firefighting Training in Barangay Calawat, in coordination with Hon. Romeo B. Casiao and team members, in preparation for the upcoming 2nd Rescue and Firefighting Olympics on May 2, 2026.

The activity followed the proper sequence of every station from assembly and briefing, equipment check, up to the ex*****on of Rescue and Transfer, Firefighting (Bucket Relay), and Hose and Nozzle Management with Busted Hose, ensuring an organized, efficient, and systematic flow of training.

It highlighted not only the participants’ skills and discipline, but also their strong teamwork, dedication, and readiness to respond effectively to real-life emergencies.
