The Panabo City Veterinary Section will be closed on August 31, 2026 (Monday), pursuant to Proclamation No. 1006, declaring the said date a regular holiday in observance of National Heroes Day.

Regular office operations will resume on September 1, 2026 (Tuesday).

Proclamation No. 1006 signed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. declared August 31, 2026 (Monday) as regular holiday throughout the Philippines in observance of National Heroes Day.

Panabo City Veterinary Section actively participated in the Serbisyong Barangay-Oplan Kalinaw in Barangay Sto. Niño, Panabo City, held earlier today.

The office offered free animal health care services, including rabies vaccination, pet registration, deworming, and mange treatment for pets, as well as distributed repacked supplements, dewormers, and medicines for livestock and poultry, benefiting both pet owners and backyard animal raisers alike.

City Government of Panabo through the Panabo City Veterinary Section supports the celebration of this year's World Rabies Day, with the following activities*:

•September 3, 10, 17, 24, & 29, 2026 - Low-Cost Castration (For pre-registration, visit Panabo City Veterinary Section to secure a slot)

•September 28, 2026 - Free Rabies vaccination for dogs and cats (Bring your pet(s), at least 3 months old, to the Panabo City Veterinary Section)

*Exclusive to Panabo residents only

Panabo City Veterinary Section is now accepting pre-registration for 200 slots for low-cost castration (for MALE pets only). This is exclusive to Panabo residents.

For PRE-REGISTRATION, visit our office during office hours (Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM) to secure a slot. Pre-registration will close once the slots are filled. Only those who have pre-registered will be given a batch schedule for the actual operation. No walk-ins.

Requirements:
1) Present a valid ID as proof of residence in Panabo City.
2) Present an updated rabies vaccination record of pet(s).
3) Pet(s) must be at least 6 months old and apparently healthy (no signs of illness such as coughing, vomiting, reduced appetite, weakness, etc., to prevent complications).

Panabo City Veterinary Section joined in the delivery of basic services during the Serbisyong Barangay-Oplan Kalinaw held on August 26, 2026, providing free veterinary services (including rabies vaccination, pet registration, deworming, and mange treatment for pets, as well as the distribution of repacked supplements and medicines for farm animals), benefiting local animal raisers in Barangay New Pandan, Panabo City.

Panabo City Veterinary Section will be closed on August 21, 2026 (Friday), in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day, which has been declared a Special Non-Working Holiday under Proclamation No. 1006.

Regular office operations will resume on August 24, 2026 (Monday).
