The DTI Davao del Norte through its Negosyo Center Panabo City, in partnership with the City Agriculture Office (CAGRO) and the Panabo City Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (LEDIPO), successfully conducted the "๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐๐๐๐ค๐๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ก๐๐ง๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ" activity on August 27, 2026 at the PCGEMPC Function Hall, Panabo City, Davao del Norte. This initiative delivered an immediate, high-impact boost to the compliance and operational capacity of local micro-enterprises. Through an interactive learning module and individual technical consultations, 100% of the participating MSMEs gained essential knowledge on packaging functions, consumer safety, and mandatory regulatory standards under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394). The activity directly addressed common packaging issues such as generic presentation, structural weaknesses, and visual flaws, transforming participant understanding of how compliant labelling builds consumer trust and enhances product shelf appeal.
Beyond educational outcomes, the program made a tangible contribution to long-term enterprise sustainability and market competitiveness for local entrepreneurs. Each participating MSMEs will received a professionally designed, high-resolution, print-ready, and enhanced label tailored to their product line. This visual upgrade significantly elevates their brand presence, allowing them to expand their consumer reach into a broader, more competitive markets.
