MEMORANDUM
07 March 2023

TO: ALL CITY/MUNICIPAL MAYORS
This Province

SUBJECT: SUSPENSION OF WORK AND CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS DUE TO THE LATEST EARTHQUAKE

Due to the recent 5.9 magnitude earthquake affecting Davao Region (Intensity IV here in Davao del Norte Province), which is a strong earthquake based on PHILVOCS Earthquake Intensity Scale, all work and classes in all levels are hereby suspended in the entire Province effective today, 07 March 2023 until 08 March 2023 to give way for Local Government Units to conduct an intensive structural integrity inspection of all public infrastructures, buildings, schools, and facilities in their respective jurisdiction to ensure the safety of the public.

Extending the work and classes suspension shall be the discretion of the respective Local Chief Executive depending on the extent of the inspection and other immediate public safety concerns in their area of jurisdiction.

𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊 𝐒𝐔𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃 | City Mayor Jose E. Relampagos, through the recommendation of the CDRRMO, temporarily suspends government work and classes in all levels on January 3, 2023 until lifted due to the Heavy Rainfall Warning hoisted by PAGASA at a Red Warning Level.

All private companies and schools may suspend work and classes at the discretion of their respective managements.

An Executive Order shall follow. Kindly report accidents caused by flash floods immediately at 09302385937 (CDRRMO) or 09284587586 (BFP Panabo)

The City Health Office of Panabo in its strong desire to offer better health to its constituents has partnered with the Provincial Health Office of Davao del Norte and Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) to conduct Active Case Finding through Free Chest X-Ray examination and Sputum collection for Gen Xpert examination to all vulnerable high risk groups like Senior Citizens, persons with other co-morbidity, contacts of person with tuberculosis and others. This event will be on October 19, 2022 from 1pm to 3pm at Brgy. Salvacion Gym
