Promoting a Safer and Drug-Free Youth 📍

On August 27, 2026, Barangay Council of Kasilak hosted a meaningful series of advocacy activities aimed at empowering the youth and promoting a safer, healthier, and more responsible community at Kasilak National High School .

The CADAC Office headed by Sir Roqueos Cimafranca conducted an Anti-Drug Symposium, providing students with important knowledge and awareness about the dangers of illegal drugs and the importance of making positive and responsible choices.

Also conducted was an Anti-Bullying Campaign, promoting respect, kindness, and a safe school environment for everyone. Meanwhile, the Revitilized Police sa Barangay (RPSB) facilitated discussions on Road Safety and Republic Act No. 4136, helping students understand the importance of responsible behavior and compliance with traffic laws.

These activities serve as a reminder that education, awareness, and active participation are key to building a drug-free, bully-free, and safer community. 💙

👮‍♂️ BARANGAY TANOD SKILLS ENHANCEMENT TRAINING 2026

The Barangay Tanods of Barangay Kasilak actively participated in the Roll-Out Training on Barangay Tanod Skills Enhancement held on August 11–13, 2026 through a Zoom Meeting, initiated by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

The three-day training provided our Barangay Tanods with valuable knowledge and enhanced skills necessary in performing their duties and responsibilities, particularly in maintaining peace and order, ensuring community safety, responding to incidents, and providing effective assistance to the community.

This activity is an important step toward strengthening the capacity and preparedness of our Barangay Tanods as they continue to serve as frontliners in peacekeeping and community protection. 💙👮‍♂️
