The survey demonstrates that city mayors who remain responsive to the needs of their communities and effectively implement programs that improve the quality of life of their constituents continue to earn higher levels of public confidence.
The survey further shows that all five ranked city mayors exceeded the 55% passing benchmark established under the RPMD Index of Governance. Scores of 70% and above signify very strong public approval, reflecting sustained confidence in the capability of local chief executives to effectively govern their respective cities and deliver responsive, accountable, and people-centered public service.
The RPMD Foundation Inc. "Boses ng Bayan" survey was conducted from April 1–8, 2026, through interviews with 5,000 registered voters across the Davao Region using random sampling across all socio-economic classes. The survey has a ±1% margin of error at a 95% confidence level, ensuring a statistically reliable representation of public sentiment across the region.
