A community's compassion is measured not by the size of its resources, but by its willingness to extend a helping hand in times of need.

Through Project Alayon, the Federal Student Government of Davao del Norte State College successfully gathered a total of ₱26,153.43, which has been officially turned over to the Charity Initiative of DNSC in support of families and individuals affected by the recent earthquakes that struck SOCCSKSARGEN and Davao Occidental.

This collective effort stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of bayanihan—where students, faculty, stakeholders, and members of the community unite beyond differences and boundaries to bring hope and relief to those facing adversity. Every contribution, no matter how great or small, carries with it a message of solidarity: that no one has to rebuild alone.

The Federal Student Government extends its sincerest gratitude to everyone who became part of this meaningful cause. Your generosity transformed compassion into action and reminded us that in moments of uncertainty, humanity remains our greatest strength.

Indeed, when hearts move as one, even the smallest acts of kindness create ripples of hope that reach far beyond what we can see.

FSG Emergency Donation Drive | June 17–19, 2026

A 7.8-magnitude earthquake has devastated communities in Sarangani on June 8, 2026 — and as one student body, we choose to show up.

The Federal Student Government of DNSC, through Executive Order No. 01, has officially activated ALAYON to coordinate student-led relief efforts for our fellow Filipinos affected by this disaster.

THIS IS 100% VOLUNTARY. No student is required, pressured, or obligated to give. This is purely a personal choice — and whatever you decide, we respect it fully. If you choose to contribute, know that every peso, regardless of amount, is a meaningful act of compassion rooted in our DNSC Core Values of Stewardship and Love of God and Country.

HOW TO DONATE:
Donations shall be made through the official QR code attached to the photo. Please scan and proceed with your voluntary contribution at your own convenience. Monetary donations only, and only transactions made through the official QR code shall be recognized as part of the drive. Collection Period: June 17–19, 2026 only. Please don't forget to include your NAME_PROGRAM in the message box upon sending your monetary donations through GCash.

𝗙𝗦𝗚, 𝗟𝗦𝗚𝘀, 𝗣𝗕𝗢𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 ₱𝟮𝟴,𝟭𝟲𝟬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗽𝗻𝗮𝘆

In line with SGA 009, the Federal Student Government (FSG), together with Local Student Governments (LSGs) and Program-based Organizations (PBOs), reaffirmed their commitment to support Project Sapnay, the college’s charity arm dedicated to assisting students-in-need.

Under the policy, participating student governments and organizations allocated 3%–5% of their total cash inflows, excluding event contributions, to the initiative. The effort was carried out through the FSG’s charity arm, Project Alayon, which generated a total of ₱28,160 during its first wave of collections.

Today, the said donation was formally turned over to the core officers of Project Sapnay, marking another step in strengthening student-led initiatives anchored on compassion, service, and collective responsibility for the welfare of the student body.

Mr. Kiro Catugal, a 4th year student of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in English (BSED 4-D), is in need of financial support for his 55 years old father, Mr. Bobby Catugal. His father has been diagnosed with Coronary Disease and is currently in need of medical assistance for Coronary Angiogram operation at the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC)

This donation drive is voluntary and any amount you can share will be deeply appreciated by the family. All your contributions will be directly fund the medical and surgical expenses of Mr. Bobby Catugal.

[ALAYON UPDATE] 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗦. 𝗡𝗘𝗟 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗘 𝗗𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗔 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗥. 𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗡̃𝗢

Through Project Alayon, with the invaluable support of the DNSC community, we successfully raised and turned over a total of ₱479.00 to Ms. Nel Anne De Rosa, a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English 2-B student, to assist with her late grandmother's final medical expenses. Additionally, ₱548.00 was handed over on February 3, 2026, to provide medical assistance for Mr. Soreño, father of Glyza Soreño, a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems 4-B student, who is currently undergoing dialysis treatment. These contributions reflect our shared commitment to transparency and compassionate support for those in need. Thank you to all donors.

This initiative shines with the true compassion and unity of our DNSC community—students and supporters joining hands to lift families in their darkest hours. Every contribution, big or small, eases real burdens and kindles hope when it's needed most.

Our fellow student, Jayrico Grancho (BS Entrepreneurship 4-B), was shot in Carmen on January 7, 2026 and is currently confined at the Regional Hospital.

In response, Project Alayon, through the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, successfully handed over a total of ₱4,000 in monetary assistance to the ILEGG-LSG External Secretary to help support Jayrico’s medical expenses. This action was carried out in accordance with Project Alayon’s internal rules and regulations.

Let us continue to keep Jayrico in our thoughts and prayers.

In response to a situation of hardship, the Federal Student Government through Project Alayon formally calling on the DNSC community to support Nel Anne De Rosa, a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English 2-B, whose grandmother is in need of financial assistance for operation and medication.

‎This donation drive is being requested by the classmate and a close friend of the beneficiary, Jerrelyn A. Moroncil, in hopes of easing the family's financial burden during this challenges.

In its continuous effort to stand with students and their families during difficult times, the DNSC Federal Student Government has extended financial assistance to David Joshua Sabus Dinampo, a BPA 4B student whose father, Jose Lameda Dinampo Jr., has been undergoing ongoing medical care.

This support was provided to help ease the family’s financial burdens as they continue to navigate a challenging and emotionally heavy period. The gesture reflects the FSG’s commitment to ensuring that students facing personal hardship receive meaningful help when they need it most.

Through this act of compassion, the Federal Student Government reaffirms its dedication to fostering unity, empathy, and collective care within the DNSC community.
