The dream destination is a VAW-free country, and our commitment today determines where we will be tomorrow.

As the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) spearheads the national 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, we call on every Filipino to move from awareness to action, from advocacy to activism, and from watchers to warriors.

This is more than an invitation; it is a shared national responsibility to ensure every woman and girl lives free from fear, abuse, and violence.

A VAW-free Philippines gives us the following signals for action:
β€’ 𝗦𝗧𝗒𝗣 violence against women. Women’s rights are human rights.
β€’ π—Ÿπ—’π—’π—ž beyond silence. Do not judge a story you don’t fully know.
β€’ π—Ÿπ—œπ—¦π—§π—˜π—‘ with compassion. Put yourself in the shoes of victim-survivors, and champion their right to safety, dignity, and justice.

Ending VAW rests on all of us. Let us rise as one, stand UNiTEd, and build a VAW-free Philippines!

| Toolkit: Youth Guide To End Online Gender-Based Violence

In an era where digital footprints define our existence, online gender-based violence (OGBV) and Technology Facilitated OGBV (TFGBV) cast a long, oppressive shadow on the freedom and safety of women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals. It’s more than a personal struggle; it’s a societal battle that widens the gender digital divide and threatens our collective march towards a just, equitable world. The Youth Guide To End Online Gender-Based Violence toolkit is an actionable learning and knowledge product developed by the 30 for 2030 Network, a youth and civil society leadership cohort in the Asia-Pacific region supported by UN Women. The toolkit is a downloadable PDF, designed to be easily accessible for anyone to read and utilize to raise awareness.
