𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐬, 𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬

23 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 2026 | The Mindanao State University–Zamboanga Sibugay ROTC Unit successfully conducted its ROTC Opening Ceremony and Donning of Ranks at the MSU–Zamboanga Sibugay Gymnasium.

The ceremony was led by 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐆. 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚, 𝐏.𝐃. and 𝗟𝗧𝗖 𝗝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝗠 𝗦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚 (𝗜𝗡𝗙) 𝗣𝗔, ROTC Unit Commandant, together with 𝐓𝐒𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐂 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐉𝐫 (𝐈𝐧𝐟) 𝐏𝐀, the Training Staff, and the Advance ROTC Officers.

The Unit was also honored by the presence of 𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐋 𝐆𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐍 𝐈𝐍𝐅 (𝐌𝐍𝐒𝐀) 𝐏𝐀, 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 9𝐑𝐂𝐃𝐆, 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐌, 𝐏𝐀, who served as the 𝐆𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫,His message reminded our cadets that being a leader is not just about wearing a rank—it is about responsibility, discipline, setting a good example, and serving others.

A new rank is not just something worn—it is a reminder to lead with purpose, serve with dedication, and uphold the values of the Corps.

Every platoon in the Corps has its own role, identity, and story. While they train in different areas, they all work toward one goal—building disciplined, responsible, and capable cadets.

Cadets, please be reminded that tomorrow’s attendance (16 August 2026) will be recorded through the ROTC QR Code System.

Before attending, make sure you have your personal QR Card downloaded and saved in your phone gallery. Your QR Code will serve as your attendance identification, so please have it ready for scanning.

HOW TO GET YOUR QR CARD:

4. Go to “My QR Card”

6. Bring your QR Code tomorrow
During attendance, simply show your downloaded QR Card to the ROTC officer for scanning.

On 01 August 2026, the MSU–Zamboanga Sibugay ROTC Unit conducted a Commanders' Briefing spearheaded by 1LT CEFERINO C PUERTO PA (Res), Assistant Commandant, together with TSg Aniano C. Amad Jr. (Inf), PA, Admin NCO, and the Training Staff.

During the activity, the Corps and Staff of the Unit presented their respective plans, updates, and operational matters to ensure effective coordination and the successful conduct of the unit's upcoming activities.
