I am deeply honored and sincerely grateful to Climate Neutral Awards Asia and the Pacific for the recognition of EXCELLENCE IN PROVINCIAL LEGISLATION AND POLICY REFORM.

This distinction is not only a personal honor, but also a meaningful affirmation of our continuing commitment to responsive legislation, sound policy reform, climate action, and effective public service for the people of Maguindanao del Sur.

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the organizers and evaluators of the Climate Neutral Awards Asia and the Pacific for recognizing the importance of provincial legislative initiatives that promote sustainable development, resilience, good governance, and meaningful solutions for our communities.

I share this recognition with the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Maguindanao del Sur headed by our Hon. Vice Governor Ustadz Hisham S. Nando, our provincial leadership headed by Governor Hadji Datu Ali Midtimbang, fellow public servants, partner agencies, civil society organizations, community leaders, and most especially, the people whom we are privileged to serve.

The members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and resource persons convened at the Session Hall for the Tri-Committee Hearing by the chairpersons of the Committee on Education, Culture and Arts, Madaris, and Science and Technology, Committee on Rules, and Committee on Islamic Affairs.

Four proposed legislations were discussed during the hearing, which was held at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Maguindanao del Sur Session Hall in the Municipality of Buluan.

The following proposed legislative measures were discussed:

• Proposed Ordinance Adopting the Citizen’s Charter of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Maguindanao del Sur Pursuant to Republic Act. No. 11032 Otherwise Known As “The Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018”, and Other Purposes
(Proponents: Hon. Faujiah B. Mangelen & Hon. Alonto M. Bangkulit, Jr)

• An Ordinance Institutionalizing Daw’ah Activities in the Province of Maguindanao del Sur
(Proponent: Hon. Hisham S. Nando)

• A Resolution Requesting Financial Assistance for the Office of the Provincial Shaikul Qur’ah
(Proponent: Hon. Kahal Q. Kedtag)

• An Ordinance Recognizing and Declaring Datu Salipada K. Pendatun As A Local Hero and an Icon of the Province of Maguindanao del Sur, Providing Funds Thereof
(Proponent: Hon. Yussef Abubakar M. Paglas)

Vice Governor Hisham S. Nando, a proponent of one of the proposed legislations, was in attendance. Members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Maguindanao del Sur who were not proponents, such as, Hon. Saidali Makakena, Hon. Rahib Nando, Hon. Zahara U. Ampatuan, Hon. Sittie Amerah Sangki, and Hon. Datu Sapak Midtimbang, were also in attendance.

The resource person who were in attendance were Shahamza Ian Clark H. Sabado (Supervising Administrative Officer, Accounting), Harlan Joel A. Alid (Planning Officer PPDO), Kenth Ryan S. Pareja (Budget Office), Vivian U. Sambolawan, PhD (SDO-MDS ), Roxas Adza (Provincial Treasurer), Atty. Rex B. Porras (PLO), Minambay A. Salim (HRMO), Omar khalid Ampatuan (SP Secretariat), Ustadz Guiamaludin Bansuel (Mudir Masajid), Qahar A. Mohammad Taha (Chairman Damakling Province), and Esmail M. Kutia (Chairman Province), Mohammad Sultan Utto, Humaran S. Hashim, Moktar M. Mansol (Tarbiyah Chairman), and Abdullah Kaul (Tarbiyah Vice Chairman).

Alhamdulillah!

Isang taon na ang lumipas mula nang tayo ay muling pagkatiwalaan ng ating mga kababayan upang magsilbi sa ating ikalawang termino bilang Board Member ng Maguindanao del Sur.

Sa loob ng unang taon, ating ipinakita sa mga sumuporta, bumoto, at sa buong mamamayan ng Maguindanao del Sur na ang kanilang tiwala ay hindi nasayang. Naisulong natin ang iba’t ibang resolusyon, ordinansa, at mga proyektong naglalayong mapabuti ang kapakanan ng ating lalawigan at ng bawat mamamayan.

Ang mga nagawa nating ito ay hindi lamang mga nakasulat na ulat o kuwento—ito ay mga konkretong hakbang na nakita at naramdaman ng ating mga kababayan.

Sa nalalabing dalawang taon ng ating termino, ipinapanalangin ko na lalo pa nating magampanan nang mahusay ang ating tungkulin bilang lingkod-bayan. Patuloy tayong magseserbisyo nang may katapatan, malasakit, at dedikasyon para sa ikauunlad ng bawat taga-Maguindanao del Sur.

Maraming salamat sa inyong walang sawang suporta at tiwala. Sa tulong ng Allah (SWT), ipagpapatuloy natin ang tapat at makabuluhang paglilingkod sa ating minamahal na lalawigan.

Sukran, Governor Hadji Datu Ali Midtimbang, Vice-Governor Ustadz Hisham S. Nando sa inyong patuloy na suporta at pagkakaloob ng mga armchairs para sa kapakanan ng ating mga kabataang mag-aaral.

Ang inyo pong abang lingkod Board Member Alonto M. Bangkulit, Jr. ay patuloy na isinusulong ang suporta sa edukasyon sa pamamagitan ng pakikipag ugnayan sa mga ibat ibang liderato at ahensya upang maka pamahagi ng mga armchairs sa Madrasa Labo Al-Islamiyah ng Barangay Tunggol at Madrasato Norol Gulam Al-Islamiyah ng Barangay Talapas, Datu Montawal, Maguindanao del Sur.

Ang simpleng tulong na ito ay malaking hakbang upang mabigyan ng mas maayos at komportableng kapaligiran sa pag-aaral ang ating mga mag-aaral sa madrasa.

Patuloy tayong maglilingkod para sa ikauunlad ng edukasyon at kapakanan ng bawat mamamayan.

Today, June 25, 2026 / Muharram 10, 1448 AH,
I attended the 2nd Joint Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PADAC), Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), and Provincial Solid Waste Management Board (PSWMB) Meeting of the Province of Maguindanao del Sur.

As a Member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Maguindanao del Sur and Chairman of the Committee on Disaster Preparedness, I remain committed to supporting policies and initiatives that strengthen peace and order, disaster resilience, environmental protection, and public safety in our province.

This joint meeting serves as an important platform for collaboration among government agencies and stakeholders to address the challenges facing our communities and to ensure that our province remains prepared, responsive, and resilient.

Together, let us continue working towards a safer, more peaceful, and disaster-resilient Maguindanao del Sur.

🏀 DISTRIBUTION OF FIBERGLASS BASKETBALL BOARD AND RING 🏀

Ipinagkaloob natin ang isang fiberglass basketball board and ring kay Barangay Captain Adnan M. Kamarudin para sa kapakinabangan ng mga kabataan at mamamayan ng Barangay Upper Idtig, Paglat, Maguindanao del Sur thru the initiative of Former Mayor of GSKP and now incoming 5th district Member of Parliament, MDS, BARMM Hon. Rafsanjani “Bimbo” Pendatun Ali.

Bilang bahagi ng ating panata sa ating ikalawang termino, patuloy tayong magsasagawa ng pamamahagi ng fiberglass basketball board and ring sa iba’t ibang barangay ng pangalwang distrito ng Maguindanao del Sur, lalo na sa mga barangay na mayroon nang covered court ngunit wala pang sapat na pasilidad para sa basketball.

Ang programang ito ay ating pinopondohan mula sa ating sariling sweldo bilang isang paraan ng pagbibigay-suporta sa mga kabataang mahilig sa sports at upang mahikayat sila sa mga positibong gawain na nagtataguyod ng disiplina, pagkakaisa, at malusog na pamumuhay.

Naniniwala tayo na sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalakas ng sports development sa ating mga komunidad, mas mabibigyan natin ng pagkakataon ang ating mga kabataan na maipakita ang kanilang talento at maiwasan ang mga bisyo at iba pang negatibong impluwensya.

Patuloy po nating suportahan ang ating mga kabataan at sama-sama nating itaguyod ang mas maunlad, masigla, at mas malusog na pamayanan.

Serbisyong may Puso, para sa Kabataan at sa Bayan!
