The 2nd Quarter Joint Meeting of GAD, LCPC, and LCAT-VAWC was held on June 26, 2025, at the Mayor’s Office Conference Room. Key topics discussed included the finalization of the LDPC and LIPC, endorsement of the CLJIP resolution, and approval of the GAD Plan and Budget.

Matapos ang isinagawang pormal na turnover ceremony ngayong araw, personal na bumisita si Hon. Raul E. Tabirara sa bawat tanggapan ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Pandan upang ipaabot ang kanyang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa suporta, dedikasyon, at malasakit ng mga kawani sa buong panahon ng kanyang panunungkulan bilang Alkalde. Ayon sa kanya, ang mga tagumpay ng kanyang administrasyon ay hindi magiging posible kung wala ang sama-samang pagsusumikap at pagtutulungan ng buong organisasyon.

Kasabay nito ang kanyang pamamaalam, bilang pagpapakita ng lubos na pagpapahalaga sa mga naging katuwang niya sa paglilingkod, at bilang pagpapahayag ng kanyang hangarin para sa patuloy na tagumpay ng lokal na pamahalaan sa ilalim ng bagong liderato.

Mula sa buong Pamahalaang Bayan ng Pandan, maraming salamat po, Mayor Raul Takoy Tabirara, sa inyong tapat, makabuluhan, at buong pusong paglilingkod para sa bayan ng Pandan. 🫡

𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐉𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐒𝐊𝐌𝐅 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧

Hon. Jinnah Bernardino officially took his oath as the new Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation (SKMF) President of Pandan today, June 30, 2025, before Hon. Mayor Raul E. Tabirara. As SKMF President, he now serves as an ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Bayan, representing the youth sector in local governance.

The ceremony was witnessed by members of the Sangguniang Bayan, highlighting a collective hope for a more engaged and empowered youth under Hon. Bernardino’s leadership.

𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫: 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🌈✨

The Municipality of Pandan, through the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), successfully held its Pride Month Celebration last June 27, 2025, at the Pandan Seashore Park. With the theme “Tomorrow for All: Light from Collective Resistance,” the event served as a vibrant tribute to the strength and unity of the LGBTQ+ community.

The celebration began with a lively motorcade around the town proper, followed by the much-anticipated Color Rave Party in the evening. The PSP came alive with music and colors that embodied the spirit of diversity and inclusion.

Highlights of the program included welcome remarks by LYDO Designate Ms. Maria Ada I. Condeno, messages of support from Municipal Health Officer Dr. Ma. Theresa DG. Mariano, Hon. Marvie Niola and Hon. Florencio Herrera, an energetic intermission by Zumbangi – LGBT+ RHU Pandan, and a hopeful closing message from SKMF President Hon. Emman Jorge Gianan.

It was a joyful and meaningful night for everyone who joined and supported the celebration.

Isinagawa ngayong araw, Hunyo 28, 2025, ang Emergency First Aid Training para sa mga miyembro ng Pandan Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (PACTODA) sa lobby ng Munisipyo ng Pandan.

Ang pagsasanay ay isinagawa ng Philippine Red Cross – Virac Chapter upang bigyang-kaalaman ang mga drivers ukol sa mga pangunahing hakbang sa pagtugon sa mga sitwasyong pang-emergency.

Suportado ang aktibidad na ito ni Mayor Raul E. Tabirara, na isa ring Board of Director ng Philippine Red Cross, at ng MDRRMO sa pangunguna ni Sir Noel Garcera.

Bukod dito, binigyan din sila ng first aid kits. Layon ng programa na palakasin ang kakayahan ng mga tricycle driver bilang mga frontliner sa kalsada na maaaring makatugon agad sa oras ng sakuna o aksidente.

𝐃𝐎𝐇 𝐁𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐇𝐏𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧

The Department of Health (DOH) Bicol Center for Health Development successfully completed its HPBisita monitoring at the Pandan Rural Health Unit from June 24 to 27, 2025. A pre-monitoring visit was held on June 17–19 to prepare for the assessment.

Led by the Health Promotion Bureau, the initiative highlighted strong collaboration between DOH Bicol and the LGU of Pandan, headed by Mayor Raul E. Tabirara and MHO Dr. Ma. Theresa D. Mariano. In recognition of their support, DOH Bicol awarded a Certificate of Appreciation to the LGU on June 25.

Regional Director Dr. Melissa T. Sena praised the LGU’s proactive efforts, reaffirming their shared commitment to advancing health and strengthening Universal Health Care in Catanduanes.

Nagsagawa ng pulong ang Local School Board (LSB) sa pangunguna ni Mayor Raul E. Tabirara upang talakayin ang mga pangunahing isyu sa sektor ng edukasyon, lalo na sa mga paaralang nasa geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDA). Tinalakay ang kasalukuyang kalagayan ng mga multigrade schools gaya ng Jose O. Vera Elementary School, San Isidro Elementary School, at Baldoc Integrated School.

Tinalakay rin ang mga usapin ukol sa mga volunteer teachers, partikular na ang pag-renew ng kanilang mga kontrata at ang pagsuporta sa kanilang posisyon. Binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng Special Education Fund (SEF) bilang suporta ng LGU sa mga g**o, gayundin ang pangangailangang makipag-ugnayan sa Department of Education (DepEd) at iba pang ahensya.

Kabilang sa mga natalakay ang paggamit ng pondo at disbursement ng SEF, mga prayoridad na proyekto tulad ng pagsasaayos ng paaralan, at ang kahalagahan ng maagap na liquidation at reporting. Tinalakay din ang recomposition at turnover ng LSB upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy at epektibong pamamahala ng LGU sa sektor ng edukasyon.
