HAZE KA BA? Kasi you Take my breathe away eh! (Joke!) Ang “Haze” ay usok at alikabok sa hangin galing sa sunog.
Ngayon, eto ay galing sa sunog sa bansang Indonesia na umabot na dito sa Pandan, Antique dahil sa hangin.

Maulap at maputing langit
May amoy usok
Madilaw o malabo ang araw

𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘‼️

Indonesia is battling widespread forest and peatland fires that have burned tens of thousands of hectares and sent a toxic haze across Southeast Asia and parts of the Philippines.

The 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀- 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 (𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗥-𝗘𝗠𝗕) is closely monitoring the air quality situation in several areas in the Philippines affected by haze.

The haze is likely linked 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗺𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘇𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗺𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻, 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮, which prevailing winds may have carried toward the Philippines.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐈𝐒 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎:

- Minimize prolonged outdoor activities, especially in areas visibly affected by haze.
- Limit outdoor exposure for children, older persons, and individuals who are sensitive to air pollution or have respiratory or cardiovascular conditions.
- Wear a well-fitting mask, preferably an N95 or equivalent, when going outdoors in areas with noticeable haze.
- Stay updated through official advisories and air-quality information from DENR-EMB, other concerned government agencies, and the official communication channels of LGU Pandan.
- Remain calm and rely only on official sources for verified information.

The LGU Pandan, will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide updates based on the latest air-quality and meteorological information.

The Municipality of Pandan officially opened the 𝟭𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁 at the Liberman Sports Complex, September 1, 2026.

The celebration started with a parade led by the 𝗣𝗡𝗣, 𝗕𝗙𝗣, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘂𝘅𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲, followed by LGU officials, the Sports Committee, and delegations from various municipal offices. Teams in 𝗬𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄, 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸, 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻, 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲, 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 showcased unity and enthusiasm.

The formal program featured the Opening Remarks by Mr. Delfin D. Peñaflorida, HRMO IV, the Oath of Sportsmanship by Ms. Shyla V. Samulde, MVP VG 2025, and the official declaration of the Sportsfest opening by Mayor Engr. Tomas U. Estoperez Jr. The program also featured the Team Cheer and Chants Competition and the Ceremonial Toss.

Competitions in basketball, volleyball, E-Sports ML, chess, and dama will be held throughout the Sportsfest, promoting teamwork and camaraderie among municipal employees.
