WATER SUPPLY UPDATE IN BARANGAY LIBAONG 📢📢📢

After months of troubleshooting (checking different areas, inspecting pipelines, and searching for possible blockages. We also installed gate valves along the main lines to better control water distribution. This helped prevent water from flowing directly to lower areas and allowed higher-elevation communities to receive adequate water supply.)

We have finally identified the “main cause” of the low to no water supply in Barangay Libaong. The main gate valve located beneath the reservoir was found to be almost 100% closed due to severe corrosion and wear after more than 10 years of service.

Yesterday, the defective gate valve has been successfully replaced, and the two 2HP submersible pumps are now supplying water to the reservoir once again.

We are hopeful that water service in affected areas will continue to improve and normalize.

God is good.

UPDATE ‼️😇

MAY 21, 2026 (THURSDAY) - (9:27am - 4:38pm)

We would like to inform everyone that the two submersible pumps supplying water to Barangay Poblacion (Centro) were successfully installed earlier today.

As of the moment, we kindly ask for a little more patience as the water system is still stabilizing. The pipelines are currently being refilled, and some areas may experience airlocks due to the long distance of the water source. Because of this, water pressure and flow may temporarily be unstable.

Please rest assured that the water supply is expected to normalize soon once the lines are fully pressurized and the trapped air is released from the system.

Thank you very much for your patience, understanding, and continued cooperation while we complete the restoration process.

📢 WATER SERVICE ADVISORY 📢

We would like to inform all residents from Barangay Looc going to the boundary of Barangay Bil-isan that a water interruption has occurred over the past few days due to a blockage in the main pipeline.

Upon thorough inspection, the Waterworks team has identified the cause of the problem and is now taking the necessary actions to address and resolve the issue.

Restoration efforts are currently in progress, and the team is working diligently to bring back normal water service as soon as possible.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused and ask for your continued patience and understanding while the repair is underway.
