LOOK| Familiarization Firing of Capiz State University ROTC Unit | 𝟔𝟎𝟑 𝐂𝐃𝐂

On 16 May 2026, the Capiz State University (Main Campus and Dayao Campus) ROTC Unit successfully conducted its Familiarization Firing Activity held at the Firing Range, H603CDC, Camp Belo, Brgy Timpas, Panitan, Capiz. The activity was conducted under the guidance and supervision of MAJ NYRO B JIMENEZ (OS) PA, Director, 603CDC, 6RCDG, RESCOM, PA, and LTC WINNE S LEGARIO PA (RES), Commandant of Capiz State University ROTC Unit. ROTC cadets from both the Main Campus and Dayao Campus actively participated in the said activity.

The activity aimed to enhance the cadets’ knowledge and understanding of firearm safety, proper handling, and basic marksmanship while instilling discipline, responsibility, and confidence. Through this training, the cadets were given the opportunity to apply the lessons they learned in ROTC and further develop the values of leadership, teamwork, and patriotism.

The successful conduct of the activity reflects the commitment of the university and the ROTC unit in producing well-disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented student cadets who are prepared to uphold the spirit of nationalism and civic duty.
