NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS SAFETY DRILL 2026

Preparedness Today, Safety Every Day!

Bacarri Elementary School successfully participated in the National Simultaneous Safety Drill, strengthening the preparedness and safety awareness of our learners, teachers, and school personnel.

We are grateful for the active participation and support of the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Bacarri and the Philippine National Police (PNP) Paracelis, whose presence and assistance contributed to the successful conduct of the drill.

This activity reminds us that safety is a shared responsibility. Through strong collaboration among the school, barangay, and law enforcement, we can build a safer, more prepared, and resilient community.

Bacarri Elementary School reminds all parents, learners, teachers, and stakeholders to remain vigilant and closely monitor official weather advisories as the rainy season continues.

In accordance with DepEd policies, class suspensions shall be implemented based on Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals, Heavy Rainfall Warnings, and official announcements issued by authorized government officials.

Should face-to-face classes be suspended, the school shall ensure the continuity of learning through the appropriate learning delivery modalities as provided in the school's Learning Continuity Plan.

The safety and well-being of our learners and personnel remain our highest priority. We encourage everyone to avoid unnecessary travel during inclement weather, stay informed through official government channels, and strictly follow the guidance of local authorities.

Together, let us remain prepared, resilient, and committed to ensuring a safe and uninterrupted learning journey for every child.

Bacarri Elementary School joins the nation in marking a decade of victory through law, not force.The July 12, 2016 Arbitral Award affirmed that the Philippines can defend its maritime rights peacefully through the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), evidence, and principled action. It protects coastal communities, livelihoods, and one of the world's richest marine environments, reminding us that sovereignty is also about food security and future opportunities for every Filipino family. Ten years on, its message remains clear: principles matter, lawful action matters, and a rules-based international order benefits all nations.

Bacarri Elementary School stands with all Filipinos in promoting peace, respect for international law, and responsible stewardship of our nation's maritime heritage.

In compliance with the mandate on disaster preparedness and to ensure no disruption of instructional time, Bacarri Elementary School conducted its Earthquake Drill at 7:30 AM, before the flag ceremony this morning.

📌 Orientation Phase – Teachers provided classroom-based orientation on earthquake preparedness, emphasizing the proper "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure and evacuation protocols.

📌 Actual Ex*****on – Upon the alarm signal, learners and school personnel calmly and orderly performed the earthquake response procedures and evacuated to the designated safe area facilated by the SDRRM Coordinator.

📌 Evaluation Phase – A post-drill evaluation was conducted by the School Head to assess the effectiveness of the activity, identify areas for improvement, and reinforce disaster preparedness among all participants.

This activity reflects the school's commitment to ensuring the safety and readiness of learners and personnel while complying with safety mandates and minimizing interruption to instructional activities.

📚✨ FIRST DAY OF CLASSES | SY 2026–2027 ✨📚

Today marks the beginning of another exciting school year at Bacarri Elementary School!

Our learners were warmly welcomed as they returned to school for the first day of classes. The program featured the presentation of teachers by our School Head, Octrinalyn V. Guliquey, followed by an inspiring message from our PTA President, Herman Gabit.

To start the day with energy and enthusiasm, everyone participated in a community dance before proceeding to their respective classrooms.

May this school year be filled with learning, growth, friendship, and success. Welcome back, dear learners, and together let us make SY 2026–2027 a meaningful and productive journey!
