MAGUINDANAO PCG TASK FORCE INGAT YAMANG DAGAT UPDATE: MEP ERU MAGUINDANAO CONDUCTED MANGROVE PLANTING AND COAST CLEAN UP ACTIVITIES.
L O O K | 15 April 2025, This Unit conducted coastal clean up and successfully collected fifty (50) sacks of assorted non-biodegradable garbage along seven hundred (700) meters of coastline. Followed by Mangrove planting with the total five hundred (500) propagules of Red Mangrove species planted within an area of more or less one thousand (1,000) square meters.
This activity is in connection with the MEPCOM Pre-anniversary Activity and as well as with the PCG Task Force Ingat Yamang Dagat Initiative. The event was participated by the CGDBARMM, SOG BARMM, MSSU BARMM, NSSU BARMM, MEDS BARMM and BLGU Polloc.
Said activity whose primary goals are the preservation of our marine resources and the protection of the marine environment, and planting mangroves helps to provide shelter, natural barriers and help to reduce climate change.
