The Civil Relations Group - Southwestern Mindanao Conducts Uplifting Gift-Giving Activity

The Civil Relations Group - Southwestern Mindanao (CRG-SWM) headed by LTJG Jeomyca Krizel L Degala-Macapuji PCG together with Civil Relations Group - BARMM and Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary successfully conducted a community gift-giving activity today at Upper Masaba Elementary School, Curuan District, Zamboanga City, bringing essential aid and joy to the pupils of the said school.

The initiative distributed school supplies and slippers to the pupils of the school. This effort continues the PCG's commitment to fostering peace, building strong community relations, and supporting grassroots development alongside communities.

August 23, 2026: The Nursing Department of Mahardika Institute of Technology proudly presents its candidates for Mr. and Ms. MIT 2026, who are ready to showcase not only their confidence, talent, and poise, but also their commitment to service and public health.

As part of their advocacy, the candidates have partnered with the CRG-BARMM Team Tawi-Tawi and the PCG-OB Montessori Community Center to promote proper hygiene and health awareness among indigenous communities in Tawi-Tawi.

Through this initiative, they aim to encourage children to practice proper handwashing, personal hygiene, healthy nutrition, and disease preventionโ€”helping build healthier and safer communities through simple but meaningful actions.

More than a pageant, this is a platform for future healthcare professionals to inspire, serve, and create positive change beyond the classroom.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š: CRG-BARMM Tawi-Tawi Holds an Outreach for PCG-OB Montessori Sama-Bajau Beneficiaries Bongao

TAWI-TAWI: โ€” On August 6, 2026, the Coast Guard Civil Relations Group- BARMM, Team Tawi-Tawi [CRG-BARMM] conducted its regular class session for the beneficiaries of the PCG-OB Montessori Community Center, with a special visit from senior leaders of the Coast Guard District BARMM (CGDBARMM). Led by the unitโ€™s PIC, the team facilitated learning activities for the Sama-Bajau children at the community center.

The activity was made possible with the support of LTJG VASIT A VENTURILLO PCG, Station Commander of Coast Guard Station Central Tawi-Tawi [CGSCTT]; LTJG MARICEL N SALIHON PCG, Deputy Commander of CGSCTT; and LTJG JOBIMAR RAMSANI PCG, Sub-Station Commander of CGSS Bongao. Their guidance ensured the smooth coordination and successful conduct of the outreach. What made the day especially memorable was the presence of two key CGDBARMM officials: SCPO Alfredo Parreรฑas, Master Chief of CGDBARMM, and CPO Arsalud Diman, CMAA of CGDBARMM.

Their visit underscored the Districtโ€™s commitment to community relations and the welfare of marginalized sectors in the region. Beyond the classroom, The simple โ€œeat togetherโ€ moment strengthened camaraderie between the PCG personnel and the Sama-Bajau families, reflecting the Coast Guardโ€™s people-centered approach to service.
