The Local Government Unit of Pasacao, through the DILG Municipal Operations Office, headed by LGOO VI Liz Anne D. Ramos, successfully concluded the second and final day of the two-day capability-building activity entitled โ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฒ: ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐-๐๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ฌ-๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐๐ก ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ฆโ held at Sea and Sands Resort, Brgy. Balogo, Pasacao, Camarines Sur.
Day 2 focused on the ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฒ, further enhancing the knowledge and skills of Punong Barangays, Lupong Tagapamayapa members, and Barangay Secretaries from the 19 barangays of Pasacao through discussions on:
1. Katarungang Pambarangay: Subject Matter, Jurisdiction, and Venue, with emphasis on cases under the Revised Penal Code;
2. Katarungang Pambarangay Settlement Procedures, covering Mediation, Conciliation, and Arbitration, with emphasis on KP Forms 7โ22; and
3. Child-Sensitive Approach in the Administration of the Barangay Justice System.
The sessions were facilitated by our distinguished resource speakers, LGOO VI Rhea SD. Ascaรฑo, MLGOO of Milaor, Camarines Sur; LGOO VI Allen Roy Prila, MLGOO of Lupi, Camarines Sur; and Atty. Leila C. Olitoquit, Prosecutor III of the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor โ Camarines Sur.
Their valuable insights and practical guidance provided participants with a deeper understanding of the proper administration of Katarungang Pambarangay and the importance of ensuring that barangay justice remains responsive, accessible, and sensitive to the needs and rights of every individual.
The activity concluded with the Impression, Distribution of Certificates, and Closing Remarks led by LGOO VI Liz Anne D. Ramos, MLGOO.
As the two-day activity comes to a close, the LGU Pasacao and DILG Municipal Operations Office reaffirm their commitment to strengthening the capacity of our barangay officials and promoting a fair, accessible, child-sensitive, gender-sensitive, and human rights-based Barangay Justice System.
