On August 5, 2026, at about 7:30 AM, personnel of the Pasay City Police Station, led by PLTCOL REMEDIOS L. TERTE, ACOPA, together with PLTCOL LADE LUCIO D APANTO, ACOPO, under the supervision of PCOL JOSELITO M. DE SESTO, Chief of Police, conducted the Daily Personnel Accounting Report (DPAR) in front of the Pasay City Police Station Headquarters along F.B. Harrison Street, Pasay City.

Moral Enhancement Program (MEP) facilitated by Pastor Mario Capaycapay of Mighty Men in Uniform. This was followed by a Police Information and Continuing Education (PICE) lecture on Instituting Criminal Actions, delivered by PMAJ ALLAN V VALDEZ, Chief, ARMS.

An awarding ceremony was likewise held, during which Certificates of Commendation were presented to NUP Mateau Richardson E. Santos and NUP Angelo C. Bautista in recognition of their exemplary performance, steadfast commitment to duty, and significant contributions to the successful attainment of the station's mission and objectives.

The activity concluded with staff announcements, followed by guidance and closing remarks from PLTCOL TERTE, who reiterated the Regional Director's Five Guidance Principles.

BUY-BUST OPERATION IN PASAY LEADS TO ARREST OF SUSPECTED DRUG PERSONALITY, SEIZED PHP 31K WORTH OF SUSPECTED SHABU

PASAY CITY – Operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Pasay City Police Station arrested a suspected drug personality during a successful buy-bust operation conducted at about 11:45 p.m. of August 4, 2026, at Mary Luz Street, Barangay 127, Zone 13, Pasay City.

The suspect was identified as alias "Boss," a 35-year-old Filipino, single, unemployed, and a resident of the same address. He was arrested for alleged violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The operation was carried out by SDEU personnel led by PMAJ Andrew B. Hega and fellow operatives, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) under Control No. 17-00-08042026-024.

During the operation, authorities successfully arrested the suspect and seized the following items: Eight (8) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, with a total estimated weight of approximately 4.7 grams and a Standard Drug Price (SDP) value of ₱31,960.00; One (1) pink pouch marked ABB-9; and One (1) genuine ₱500 bill bearing Serial No. BD1986605, used as buy-bust money.

Following his arrest, the suspect was informed of the nature of his offenses and was apprised of his constitutional rights.

In compliance with Section 21, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, the marking, physical inventory, and photographing of the seized items were conducted at the place of arrest in the presence of the suspect and the required witnesses, namely Barangay Kagawad Danilo R. Bayting of Barangay 127, Pasay City, and Mr. Dave Medina, media representative from Hataw Press. Authorities also exerted efforts to secure the presence of a representative from the National Prosecution Service (NPS), but no representative was available at the time of the operation.

The arrested suspect was subsequently brought to the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) for documentation and proper disposition. The confiscated suspected illegal drugs will be submitted to the Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit for laboratory examination, while the suspect will undergo mandatory drug testing in accordance with existing laws.

A complaint for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 is being prepared for filing through inquest proceedings before the Pasay City Prosecutor's Office.
