๐Ÿ”Ž ๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š! | The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), led by Deputy Director General for Operations Vivian S. Santos, welcomed the delegation of the Millennial India International Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (MIICCIA) during a Courtesy Meeting and Investment Briefing held on 28 July 2026 at Conrad Manila, Pasay City.

The meeting was graced by His Excellency Harsh Kumar Jain, Ambassador of India to the Philippines, and former Indian Ambassador Subir Dutta, Director General of MIICCIA, underscoring the growing commitment of both countries to deepen economic cooperation.

During the briefing, DDG Santos showcased PEZA's globally competitive economic zones, investment-ready ecosystem, and strategic opportunities across priority industries. She highlighted that the Philippines' partnership with India is already yielding tangible results, with 20 Indian companies currently operating in PEZA ecozones, generating over PhP 12 billion in investments, creating nearly 26,000 direct jobs, and producing more than US$142 million in exports.

PEZA likewise emphasized the vast potential to expand India's presence in the country, particularly in IT services, artificial intelligence (AI), engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and emerging technologies.

The delegation brought together Indian business leaders from the IT-BPM, agro-industry and food, pharmaceutical and medical, and electronics and semiconductor manufacturing (EMS-SMS) sectors to explore investment and expansion opportunities in the Philippines.

The engagement reinforces PEZA's commitment to attracting more Indian investors by showcasing the Philippines as a strategic gateway to the ASEAN market and a competitive destination for export-oriented industries. #
