The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippinesโ historic โฑ40,177,750.50 dividend remittance to the National Government stands as a testament to the agencyโs transparent operations, strategic financial stewardship, and unwavering commitment to the public sector.
Recognized during GOCC Day 2026 at Malacaรฑang Palace, TPB continues to champion the Philippines on the global stage, converting institutional milestones into real economic advantages for the country. This remittance represents a 154.88% surge from the previous year and 75% of our โฑ53,570,334.00 net earnings for 2025, supporting the National Treasuryโs vital public services and nationwide development.
By actively remitting a significant portion of its net earnings to the National Treasury, TPB demonstrates how a forward-looking GOCC can generate substantial public value, helping build a resilient economic foundation that indirectly fosters sustainable wealth and industry growth.
The award was presented by His Excellency President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., together with Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto, Finance Secretary Frederick D. Go, and Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) Chairperson Atty. Marius P. Corpus.
Accepting the recognition on behalf of TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles was Ms. Teresita D. Landan, Acting Head, Office of the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Marketing and Promotions. Also representing the agency at the ceremony were Ms. Janet W. Canoy, Acting Head, Office of the Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Corporate Affairs, and Atty. Jemimah Nissi M. Tiambeng, Corporate Board Secretary.
