Here's a quick recap of the Balanga Smart City Roadmapping Workshop held last December 15 to 17, 2025 at the Grand Plaza Ballroom, Balanga City, Bataan.

Through participatory workshops, assessments, and stakeholder collaboration led by the DAP-Center for Strategic Futures (CSF) under the LIPAD PH Program, the activity kickstarted the formulation of the Balanga Smart City Roadmap 2026–2036.

Centered on innovation, digital transformation, and inclusive governance, the roadmap outlines the city’s long-term vision of becoming a resilient, sustainable, livable, and globally competitive smart city.

Through the joint efforts of DOST-National Capital Region, the Quezon City Government, and the DAP-Center for Strategic Futures (CSF) under the LIPAD PH Program, stakeholders came together to shape a smarter and more connected future for the city.

From strengthening systems to improving the use of data for better decision-making, the workshop helped to build a shared vision and align priorities and long-term goals toward more responsive, innovative, and citizen-centered governance.
