Yesterday, 7th of May 2022 was my last day of my campaign. What a ride it has been since I filed last year, October 7th.
FIRST thing I did when I came home late last night after I bathed was to smother my son, Dean with kisses and hugs. Oh, how I missed this cutie patootie. The past few months was difficult for this li’l guy as he missed his dad and mom immensely, cried a few times because we weren’t with him when he swam on the beach or saw the windmills; Or he was to sleep alone when he was with cousins. I just say — hang in there Deanpot, Mom needs to work for Pasig, just like dad does, May 8 is fastcoming. When Rhichie soon followed and came home, I also smothered my ex-BF-promoted-to-campaign-manager with kisses and hugs. This other big baby deserves these, too! We let Dean sleep beside us last night, hugged him until nanguryente na ang arm ko, pero deadma, I woke up still hugging him this morning and I am happy, though patay na my arm… I am deliriously happy.
I want to thank my “May bahay” 🤣 for being my anchor in this 6-months journey, literally ikaw ang liwanag 💡 sa tinatahak Kong daan. I love you to Jupiter and back! Sa aking pamilya na inentertain, babysat, sinama si Dean sa bakasyon, pinakain, inalagaan, inaruga siya habang wala kami for the past few months, thank you! You don’t know how I appreciate all what you have done. Love you all!
Sa mga BMOs, COORs and leaders ng 22 barangays, salamat na marami sa inyong pagtitiwala, suporta, at sa inyong loyalty. Ang kikisig, napakasipag niyo po lahat!! Magkikita tayo muli! 🫡
Sa mga volunteers, mga good samaritans… my prayers have always been answered because of you. My prayer has always been - please surround and give us good and helpful people. You are these people, brave and kind hearted. You are all a blessing. You know who you are, thank you!!
Sa aking DREAM TEAM, na aking nakasama since October last year, who rallied for me through blood, sweat and tears for the past 6 months. Kayo ang aking kasama 14-16 hours everyday, kasabayan sa paglalakad sa tirik ng araw at sa ulan, sa pagtalon kung May a*o, sa pag hakbang para maiwasan ang mga “jackpot”💩, sa sabay sabay na pagkapaos dahil everyday ang concert natin, sa ating mga adventures sa napaka sayang mga lugar na binansag nating Narnia 1, 2, 3 or ang pagtahak nating sabay sabay sa mga iilan na mga stairways to heaven, sa aking pagsakay sa motor dahil traffic kahit I am afraid 😖 at sa mga misadventures na nagkasugat-sugat or sumakit ang mga tiyan dahil lang sa Melon juice. Sa production team ng materials na hindi na natutulog amoy crudo na ang pawis🤭, mga instant change schedules, instant ayuda packs dahil nagkasunog or dahil biglaan nagkabagyo. Mga pagkakasunduan, pagtatampuhan sa team dahil mga pagod na… o mga katatawanan, kantahan, sayawan dahil fight pa din. You stuck by me for 6 months until today, never waivered, never faltered under any circumstance, challenging it may be. You defended, guarded, uplifted, comforted me everyday, every hour. Your patience, hardwork and unwavering loyalty, will not be forgotten. Salamat na marami Amir, Jeric, Zenart, Rose Ann, Anton aka Kathryn Bernardo, sa aking mga Emilys — Van and Tin Tin, Rodel, Bernie, Christian, Jom. Kanila Beshy 1 and 2 sa mga boys natin na kumakanta kahit tirik ang araw… sa mga partners in life ninyo na tumulong na din sa HQ, na naghihintay sa late niyong paguwi…. All I can say —

At dahil jan, iisa lang naman ang gusto Kong gawin at alam niyo yan, Dream Team… ang kumain ng Magnum Belgian chocolate ice cream that I am forbidden by EVERYONE to eat until yesterday. Ang tagaaaaaaaal Kong hinintay ito!!! I had the chance to eat it last night, pero pinigilan ko ang aking sarili… I want to be able to eat and share my happiness with you, mga taong nakasama ko araw at gabi, umulan, bumagyo, umaraw for 6 months. Kaya sabay nating kainin ang namnamin ang paborito kong ice cream since the day I filed last year, 2021; we will eat it all tomorrow!
Whatever may be the results of the election tomorrow, this experience have made us all winners as we all learned, grew together, cared for each other more and nobody can say otherwise.
Kudos to all of you!!! I share with you my favorite ice cream — Belgian chocolates are the best, kasi BROWN…. 🤎
