𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | The LGA conducted the e-SIP in LG on August 26, 2026, via Zoom. The session explored the Pax Silica Initiative, the Luzon Economic Corridor, and the emerging Economic Security Zone. Additionally, it highlighted the strategic roles of DILG and LGUs in preparing for opportunities and challenges arising from advanced technology, economic security, and industrial development.

The LGA, in partnership with DILG MIMAROPA, successfully conducted the CapDev Expo 2026 from August 25–26.

The two-day Expo brought together NGAs, LGUs, LRIs, and CapDev providers to identify CapDev needs, explore solutions, and strengthen collaboration through the CapDev Hackathon and Pitch Fest.

The Expo also featured the LGU CapDev Framework and Tools, the CapDev Agenda Formulation experience of Occidental Mindoro, and the introduction of CapDev8, a future-ready online CapDev marketplace envisioned to connect LGUs with the wider CapDev ecosystem.

The session introduced the fundamentals of Knowledge Management (KM), the role of the Local Governance Resource Center (LGRC), and the importance of knowledge sharing and collaboration in strengthening DILG operations and local governance.
