Fuga Island and its surrounding mainland port facilities, has been declared by the Government of the Philippines, in recognition of the development of this private land declared by national legislation, that it is designated an economic zone as part of the Caga

yan Special Economic Zone (CEZA) and Freeport under Republic Act No. 7922. One of Fuga Island Holdings Inc.'s projects is to establish an eco-tourism zone in the Island. Fuga Island has an abundant lush green forest, preserved water marine life, unexplored species of flora and fauna. The management is trying to maintain the vibrancy of the forest as much as possible and to preserve its environment condition. However, trespassers, intruders and illegal settlers have been exploiting the island. The massive illegal logging and "kaingin" are very rampant, tree cutting frenzy are everywhere, almost 35% of the Island, as of our latest survey, has been destroyed. If you wish to enter the Island kindly request for permit to enter the Island from the Island Administrator or OIC.
