Today marks another significant milestone for the students, teachers, and community of Bagtayan as we officially break ground for the Construction of School Building at Bagtayan, funded through the Local Government Support Fund โ€“ Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP).

In response to the recent heavy rainfall and the concerns raised by Barangay Dangtalan regarding road safety, the Municipality of Pasil, through its Municipal Engineering Office, successfully conducted a road clearing and mitigation activity along the Lubuaganโ€“Batong Buhay National Road, particularly at the Junction of Puapoโ€“Pasil Riverโ€“Amdalao Road.

This initiative was undertaken to clear fallen debris, improve road accessibility, and reduce potential hazards, ensuring the safer passage of motorists, commuters, and nearby residents. While this operation helps lessen the risks brought about by adverse weather, it serves as a mitigation measure only and does not guarantee that the area is completely free from hazards, especially during continuous or heavy rainfall.

The Municipality of Pasil remains committed to responding promptly to the needs and concerns of its communities while continuously working to enhance public safety and disaster preparedness.

Late update: Road clearing operations along the Samboโ€“Puapoโ€“Dam Section have already been carried out, and the road is now open and passable to motorists and residents.

Motorists and residents are still advised to always be cautious when passing through the area for everyoneโ€™s safety.
