The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), through its ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau (ILCDB), successfully conducted a two-day training entitled โ๐๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐ฃ๐ผ๐ถ๐ป๐: ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฉ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ ๐๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐โ on May 25โ26, 2026 at the DICT Region VI Digital Transformation Center.
The activity was participated in by 40 personnel from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region VI, aimed at enhancing their presentation and visual communication skills. The training covered the effective use of digital tools such as Canva and Microsoft PowerPoint, focusing on design principles, layout techniques, and strategies for audience engagement.
Through the guidance of DICT Resource Person, ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐น ๐ . ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ฟ, ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐น๐ผ๐ถ๐น๐ผ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐น๐ฑ ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ, participants engaged in hands-on workshops where they developed their own presentation materials aligned with demonstrated best practices. They also enhanced visual content, including posters, using Canva based on the techniques and recommendations shared during the sessions.
This initiative reinforces DICTโs commitment to empowering government workforce with essential digital competencies, enabling them to communicate information more effectively and deliver impactful presentations in their respective roles.
