TATAK PINOY INITIATIVE is an advantageous event for Pateros and its business industry. The first Pateros Defense Technologist representative from Municipality of Pateros in the DTI Tatak Pinoy Strategy Mr. Giancarlo Capco know to be the grandson of Pateros Military Mayor Jose Capco Sr of 1945 shared his Pateros made military technologies that honored his grandfather's Patriotic historical contribution in Pateros at the DTI Tatak Pinoy Defense Manufacturing Seal Technical Working Group held at the DTI Academy Philippines.

Giancarlo Capco said, we need to teach all these good progress in defense technologies to the young generation for progress continuity, we are doing this already under our free trainingprogramsat Calriger Academy 4DST and Mayor Capco Leadership 1 Training Center. Also, these Pateros made Filipino Military Technologies that I created specifically the Capco Solar Powered Facility Tech, Patriot 1 Remote Weapon System, CALRIGER SolarRev Military Powerbanks, WOLFSOG ARPS Laser Targeting System not just honor my grandfather's Patriotic Military contribution in Pateros but also the heroic contribution of other Pateros patriotic heroes who defended Pateros against foreign invaders. IN PHOTOS: DTI and the Defense Manufacturing Sector Engage in an Active Dialogue on the Tatak Pinoy Seal

Companies, industry associations, and government agencies related to the Defense Manufacturing sector joined the DTI-Tatak Pinoy Strategy Office (DTI-TPSO) today (March 17) for a technical working group (TWG) meeting on the implementing guidelines of the Tatak Pinoy Seal.

The meeting featured an in-depth discussion and dynamic exchange of insights, with attendance and participation from the Aerospace Industries Association of the Philippines, Inc. (AIAPI), the Army Reserve Command, the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, the Philippine Navy, and several domestic companies engaged in the manufacture of defense products and the provision of defense-related services.

These goods and services include the production of body armor, vehicle armor, weapons armory, shields, drones, basic personal protective equipment, as well as the provision of cybersecurity services and mapping services, among others.

The discussion focused on the strengths and capabilities of the defense manufacturing sector in the Philippines. Participants highlighted that the sector carries strong potential, noting that some local firms are already exporting to international markets. More support is therefore needed to prioritize and promote domestically produced goods within the local market, alongside efforts to build economies of scale.

The productive meeting generated valuable inputs from the stakeholders, which will help inform and refine the final implementing guidelines of the Tatak Pinoy Seal.

Magiging pagasa lang ng bayan ang mga kabataan kung tuturuan natin sila ng mga tamang gawain, kaya ok na maisali ang youth sector sa Initiative ng DTI NA Tatak Pinoy Seal for Defense Manufacturing. IT IS a good continuing strategy for development.

Proudly made in Municipality of Pateros Philippines: The Calriger Patriot 1 is a Filipino-made, anti-drone remote weapon system (RWS) developed by Capco Tech Calriger Industries. It is designed for home and local defense, intended to showcase the capabilities of Filipino technologists and offer a more affordable, locally-sourced defense technology.
Key features and background:
Anti-drone capabilities: As an RWS, it can be remotely operated to neutralize or deter threats, including hostile drones.
Non-lethal options: A new version of the Patriot 1 uses "paint pepper bullets" to stop and mark intruders.
