In a meaningful celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day, LGU Payao, together with the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Philippine Army (PA) and other national government agencies, gathered in unity to honor the courage, sacrifices, and unwavering patriotism of the Filipino heroes who fought for our nation's freedom.
The program formally commenced with a warm welcome message from Hon. Norfsida Jemlani, setting the tone for a solemn and patriotic observance. Vice Mayor Joeper Mendoza then delivered an inspiring Independence Day message, reminding everyone of the importance of preserving the freedoms won by our forefathers and carrying forward their legacy through dedicated public service and responsible citizenship.
The celebration concluded with the closing message of ABC President Hon. Carol Mendoza, who emphasized the significance of unity, cooperation, and collective responsibility in building a stronger and more progressive community.
