Sulbec Elementary School proudly kicked off the ARAL Summer Program 2026, a meaningful initiative of the Department of Education designed to enhance and strengthen learners’ foundational skills.

Prepared Today, Safe Tomorrow: Sulbec ES Joins National Earthquake Drill

In support of the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 2026, Sulbec Elementary School actively took part in the nationwide activity aimed at promoting disaster preparedness.

The drill was led by the School DRRM Coordinator, Mrs. Rizanne Collado, AO II, in coordination with the barangay officials and members of the Barangay Tanod of Barangay Sulbec, headed by Barangay Captain Ofelia Andallo.

This activity aimed to enhance the awareness and readiness of learners in responding to possible earthquake situations and other disasters.

During the drill, learners, together with their advisers and barangay officials, practiced the proper Duck, Cover, and Hold technique and followed the correct evacuation procedures to ensure safety during emergencies.

On March 3, the Regional Assessment Test (RAT) was administered to the Grade 6 pupils of the Sulbec Elementary School. Seven (7) learners took part in the assessment.

The examination began on time as planned. Prior to the distribution of the test materials, the pupils were reminded about the value of integrity, proper conduct, and strict adherence to testing guidelines.

The purpose of the RAT is to evaluate the learners’ comprehension of the topics discussed and to determine areas that may need additional support. The results will be used to guide the development of targeted interventions and instructional strategies to better address the academic needs of the Grade 6 learners.

Overall, the first day of the RAT was carried out in an orderly and efficient manner, with active participation from all learners.
