𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗼 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻

Project Paningin brings essential eye care closer to school children through the distribution of correctional glasses to beneficiaries who need visual assistance for their studies and daily activities.

The initiative of the Provincial Health Office and Provincial Government of Cotabato, under the leadership of Provincial Governor Hon. Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza, MNSA, aims to help children see more clearly and support them in their learning journey.

The activity is also attended by Municipal Mayor Hon. Juanito C. Agustin, duly represented by the First Lady Ms. Nancy M. Agustin, in collaboration with the Municipal Health Office. Through this continued partnership, Project Paningin helps turn better vision into better opportunities for every child.

𝗣𝗶𝗴𝗰𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗔𝗟𝗠𝗔+𝗣𝗕 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The recently concluded 27th PALMA+PB Alliance Anniversary Celebration was successfully and joyfully held on August 19, 2026, hosted by the Municipality of Midsayap. The celebration brought together the municipalities of Pigcawayan, Alamada, Libungan, Midsayap, Aleosan, Pikit, and Banisilan, strengthening the partnership, friendship, and shared commitment among the member municipalities.

In her message, Vice Governor Rochella Marie Taliño Taray extended her warm greetings to the PALMA+PB Alliance and reaffirmed the full support of the administration of Governor Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza for the programs and initiatives of the alliance that promote unity, cooperation, and development among its member municipalities.

Mayor Rolly “Ur Da Man” Sacdalan also shared the history of the PALMA+PB Alliance and emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong bond and working together toward common goals. Meanwhile, Banisilan Mayor Arlene Alisasis, Chairperson of the PALMA-PB Alliance Development Board, expressed her appreciation to the elected officials and employees from the seven municipalities who took part in the celebration, as well as to the Municipality of Midsayap for serving as the co-host municipality.

Representing Pigcawayan in the celebration were Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Niel Jake V. Casi, Al-Haj, and Municipal Councilor Hon. Jeremiah Peter N. Dela Calzada, RN, together with Municipal Councilors Hon. Atty. Renie Jay A. Soriano, MMPA, and Hon. Almyrah P. Sumalde, RPh. Their presence underscored Pigcawayan’s active participation in the PALMA+PB Alliance and its continued commitment to strengthening cooperation, friendship, and partnership among the member municipalities.

Adding excitement to the celebration were various sports activities, including pickleball, basketball, and volleyball, where participants showcased their skills, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Pigcawayan brought home an impressive set of victories and podium finishes during the recently concluded 27th PALMA+PB Alliance Anniversary Celebration held on August 19, 2026, in the Municipality of Midsayap.

In the Elected Officials Category, Pigcawayan secured 2nd Runner-Up in Beginners Men and 2nd Runner-Up in Beginners Mixed, showcasing the camaraderie and competitive spirit of its elected officials.

The LGU Employees also delivered strong performances, finishing as 1st Runner-Up in Men’s Volleyball.

In the LGU Employees Pickleball competition, Pigcawayan dominated several categories. The team emerged Champion in Beginners Women and Beginners Men, while also taking 2nd Runner-Up in Beginners Women and 1st Runner-Up in Beginners Men.

For the Novice Category, Pigcawayan secured 2nd Runner-Up and 1st Runner-Up in Men’s, as well as 1st Runner-Up in Mixed.

The Intermediate Category saw another strong showing from Pigcawayan, capturing the Championship in Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed divisions.

Adding another highlight to the celebration, Pigcawayan also proudly claimed the title of Mr. PALMA+PB Pigcawayan.

These achievements reflect not only the skills and determination of the participants but also the teamwork, sportsmanship, and strong sense of camaraderie that Pigcawayan brought to the 27th PALMA+PB Alliance Anniversary celebration.

𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗢𝗳 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴

Road clearing activities are underway in Brgy. New Panay as preparation for the upcoming road gravelling. The activity focuses on clearing the road of obstructions and preparing the area for the delivery and spreading of gravel, an important step toward improving the condition and accessibility of the road.

The site was personally visited by Municipal Councilor Hon. Noel G. Egaran, together with Municipal Councilors Hon. Mariano D. Tenizo, Jr. and Hon. Cirilo P. Gomobar, who inspected the area and checked the ongoing preparations. The initiative reflects the continued attention given to road concerns in the barangays, particularly in areas where improved access is needed by residents, farmers, and motorists.

Day Care Centers Evaluators pay a courtesy call to Municipal Mayor Hon. Juanito C. Agustin, duly represented by the First Lady Ms. Nancy M. Agustin, together with the staff of the Pigcawayan Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).

The visit highlights the continuing coordination between the evaluators and the Municipal SWDO in strengthening the implementation of Day Care Services and ensuring that centers meet the standards needed to provide children with a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for their early development.

“Ang SMART na Pamilya, Panalo! Tara, Usap Tayo sa Family Planning” takes center stage as the Municipal Health Office, headed by OIC-MHO Dr. Myles F. Rosario, together with its dedicated members, leads the celebration of National Family Planning Month.

The campaign highlights the SMART approach to family planning: S – Sama-samang nagpaplano; M – May tamang kaalaman; A – Aktibong nagpapasaya para sa kalusugan; R – Responsableng pagpapamilya; and T – Tiyak na may maginhawang kinabukasan.

The celebration provides family planning services and commodities for FP acceptors, pregnant women, and lactating mothers, while also promoting maternal and family well-being through the giving of maternal kits and hygiene kits.

Joining the activity is Municipal Mayor Hon. Juanito C. Agustin, duly represented by First Lady Ms. Nancy M. Agustin, together with the members of the 23rd Sangguniang Bayan and representatives from the Provincial Health Office.

Through accessible information, responsive health services, and responsible choices, the celebration continues to open conversations that help families plan today for a healthier and more secure tomorrow.

𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗗𝗿𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗸 𝗩𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮, 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝘂-𝗮𝗼

Embankment work is now underway in Purok Vanda, Brgy. Malu-ao, as part of the site preparation for the proposed solar dryer. The ongoing groundwork lays the foundation for a facility intended to support local farmers in the proper drying and handling of their agricultural produce.

Once established, the solar dryer is expected to provide the community with a more dependable and weather-resistant space for post-harvest activities, helping reduce losses and improve the quality of farm products. The project reflects the continuing effort to bring practical agricultural support closer to the farming community and strengthen livelihood opportunities at the barangay level.
