Pigcawayan Water District conducted a Stakeholder Dialogue on the Purok Avocado Water Source Project today, March 16, 2026, at the Conference Room of LGU Pigcawayan.
The dialogue was presided over by Dr. Silvino Q. Tejada, Municipal Administrator, who served as the Presiding Officer and facilitated the orderly discussion among stakeholders.
The activity gathered key stakeholders including representatives from LGU Offices (MENRO, OMAG, Engineering), Barangay Officials, Purok Presidents, the Midpapan–Balogo Irrigators Association, the petitioners, and Board of Directors and staff of Pigcawayan Water District (PIWAD) to openly discuss the issues and concerns raised regarding the project.
During the dialogue, Pigcawayan Water District presented the project overview, the petition letter submitted to LWUA, NWRB, and MENRO, and the current status of the water supply project, including matters related to environmental compliance. The discussion also allowed concerned stakeholders and technical offices to provide clarification, insights, and responses based on their respective mandates and expertise.
The dialogue concluded with the documentation of the discussions, issues raised, and positions of the involved parties as part of the official record to be submitted to the concerned agencies.
