OPERATIONAL REVIEW MEETING FOR MSSD SGA PARA-SOCIAL WORKERS

Strengthening Coordination, Performance, and Service Delivery

Yesterday, the MSSD SGA Para-Social Workers gathered for the Operational Review Meeting for MSSD SGA Para-Social Workers, an important activity aimed at strengthening coordination, reviewing program operations, and enhancing the delivery of social protection services to communities across the Special Geographic Area (SGA).

One of the key agenda items was the Performance Evaluation of Para-Social Workers, which is conducted at the end of every semester. The evaluation provides an opportunity to assess accomplishments, identify areas for improvement, recognize good practices, and ensure that Para-Social Workers continue to perform their responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

The activity was spearheaded by MSSD SGA Information Management Officer Muamar Andong Abdullah, together with the dedicated staff of MSSD Malidegao Field Office.

Through regular operational reviews and performance assessment, MSSD continues to promote accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and quality social welfare service deliveryβ€”ensuring that services reach those who need them most.

MSSD Malidegao Municipal Operations Office Successfully Concludes BAICS Assessment

The MSSD Internal Audit Team from the Regional Office successfully concluded their Baseline Assessment of the Internal Control System (BAICS) visit at the MSSD Malidegao Office today.

The assessment covered a comprehensive review of the office’s operations, program implementation, records management, supplies and inventory, and case folders covering both regular programs and nationally funded programs. The activity aimed to assess existing internal control mechanisms, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and ensure that office processes and program implementation remain aligned with established policies and standards.

Following the assessment, the Internal Audit Team shared their observations, recognizing positive practices while also identifying areas that require further strengthening. They likewise provided valuable recommendations to help improve our systems, procedures, documentation, and overall office operations.

The activity was conducted smoothly and successfully concluded this afternoon.

We sincerely appreciate the MSSD Internal Audit Team – Regional Office for their time, guidance, constructive feedback, and recommendations. Your assessment serves not only as a means of accountability but also as an opportunity for our office to continuously improve and strengthen the delivery of social protection services to the Bangsamoro people.

SUPPLEMENTARY FOOD PROGRAM | 16TH CYCLE 2026

Yesterday, August 25, 2026, the Malidegao Municipal Operations Office, in coordination with the MSSD Regional Office, successfully conducted the distribution of food supplies under the 16th Cycle of the Supplementary Food Program (SFP) for Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) learners in Malidegao, SGA, BARMM.

The activity was attended by the Project Development Officer and SFP Focal Person from the MSSD Regional Office, together with the dedicated staff of MSSD Malidegao Field Office, ensuring the proper delivery and distribution of food commodities to the 15 different Day Care Centers.

Each Day Care Center received essential food supplies, including rice, cooking oil, vegetables, fish, chicken, and eggs, which will be utilized in preparing nutritious meals for ECCD learners for 10 days.

This initiative aims to help provide our young learners with adequate and nutritious food, supporting their growth, development, and well-being while they participate in early childhood education.

Nutritious food today, healthier and brighter children tomorrow.

From July 23 to August 4, 2026, the MSSD Malidegao Field Office conducted a House-to-House Social Pension Payout across the barangays of Malidegao.

Indigent senior citizens who were unable to personally attend the payout venues received their β‚±6,000 second-semester Social Pension grant directly at their homes.

More than a payout, the activity provided MSSD an opportunity to personally visit, listen, and assess the other needs and concerns of our elderly beneficiaries.

MSSD remains committed to bringing social protection services closer to the people and upholding the rights, dignity, and welfare of older persons.

Bangsamoro card, Inilunsad ng MSSD at GCash para sa mas mabilis at mas transparent na paghahatid ng social protection sa Bangsamoro

Maguindanao del Norte, BARMM β€” Opisyal na inilunsad ng MSSD, katuwang ang GCash, ang Bangsamoro Card sa ilalim ng Financial Assistance System Transformation (FAST) Project ng MSSD, sa isinagawang Financial Inclusion Caravan and Bangsamoro Card Launching para sa Maguindanao del Norte at Special Geographic Area (SGA), na ginanap sa Capitol Gymnasium, Sultan Kudarat, noong Hulyo 30, 2026.

Layunin ng Bangsamoro Card na gawing mas mabilis, mas ligtas, mas direkta, at mas transparent ang paghahatid ng social protection services sa pamamagitan ng digital at cashless disbursement ng financial assistance.

Bahagi rin ng aktibidad ang pamamahagi ng Bangsamoro Card sa mga Para Social Workers at Child Development Workers, habang tinulungan naman ang mga unbanked beneficiaries ng Dakila Program at Kupkop Program na makapagbukas ng transaction accounts at makapagrehistro sa digital payment platform sa pamamagitan ng Financial Inclusion Caravan.

Sa ilalim ng FAST Project, inaasahang mapapalakas ang paghahatid ng mga pangunahing programa ng MSSD.
Ang rollout sa Maguindanao del Norte at SGA ang nagsisilbing unang leg ng implementasyon ng Bangsamoro Card sa BARMM at susundan ng rollout sa iba pang lalawigan ng rehiyon.
