Illegal fishing activity caught by the team of Pilar Bantay Dagat and Pilar PNP

PILAR MPS, Pilar, Capiz-PSSg Danilo B Placer under the supervision of PCPT RENE A HARE, ACOP together with Pilar Bantay Dagat led by Ernesto L. Cuñada apprehended ten (10) fishermen engaging illegal fishing around 3:30 in the afternoon of December 20, 2020 at Pilar Territorial Sea.

PSSg Danilo B Placer, detailed as seaborne patrolller and Pilar Bantay Dagat said that the apprehended persons were:
Buenvenido Cos, 49 years old, married; Jhon Rey Labenosa, 39 years old, married; Ron-Ron Batarino, 27 years old, single; Danny Villarosa, 52 years old, married; Selverio Batarido, 34 years old, married; Leopoldo Ombas, 35 years old single; Reynaldo Francisco, 36 years old, married; Rommy Tomonog, 35 years old, married; Joven Loro, 37 years old, married; and Makenly Rom, 47 years old, married, all resident of Barangay Libas, Roxas, City, Capiz.

They further stated that while their team conducted sea borne patrol and coastal monitoring at the territorial sea of Pilar, they spotted a two (2) trawl boat engaged illegal fishing activity under Municipal Ordinance No. 01, Series of 1999-Chapter 7, Section 56 and unhesistantly, they apprehended the above mentioned suspects including the two (2) unit Motorbanca, two (2) engine and two (2) fine mesh net .

All recovered items were under the custody of Pilar Bantay Dagat for proper disposition. # # #

Pilar PNP arrest Most Wanted Person

Pilar Municipal Police Station, Pilar, Capiz – Elements of Pilar MPS led by PCPT RENE A HARE, ACOP successfully arrested Dary Barrosa y Solis, 20 years old, single and a resident of Brgy Casanayan Pilar, Capiz at 6:00 P.M. of December 10, 2020.

Said arrest was made by virtue of Orders of Arrest under CC # 355-20 for R**e by sexual assault with no bail recommended; CC #-357-20 for R**e under Art. 266-A, Par.1 of R.A 8353 with bail recommended to (Php 120, 000.00); CC # 356-20; and CC # 358-20 for Violation of Section 5 (b) Art. III of R.A 7610 (Anti- Child Abuse Law) with bail recommended set as (Php 200,000.00) issued by Hon. Alma Banias-Delfin Pairing Judge Regional Trial Court 6th Judicial Region, Branch 14 (Family Court) Roxas City dated December 07, 2020.

The arrested person is presently in the custody Pilar PNP for proper disposition # # #

Wanted person arrested

Pilar MPS, Pilar, Capiz-Pilar PNP's intensified campaign against wanted person resulted to the arrest of a male suspect, 57 years old, married, high school graduate a resident of Brgy San Esteban, Pilar, Capiz earlier, this morning, October 9, 2020.

Said arrest was made by the joint elements of Pilar MPS personnel led by PCPT Rene A Hare, OIC-COP and by Iloilo PPO/Concepcion MPS personnel led by PLT SOLON O VILLANIS, OIC-COP.

The arrest of said wanted person was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Violation of Art. VI Sec.10 7610 with Criminal Case Number 2004-2808 duly issued and signed by Hon. ROGELIO G. AMADOR, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court Branch 66 Barotac Viejo, Iloilo dated November 3, 2009 with a bail bond recommended of 80,000.00 pesos. Subject arrested person presently under the custody of Concepcion MPS, Iloilo for documentation pending turn over to the issuing court concern.

Pilar PNP-Elmer Millares y Escarda, 52 years old, married; and Genery Millares y Villar, 25 years old, single, both residents of Barangay San Blas, Pilar, Capiz were arrested through the implementation of Order of Arrest by the joint Pilar PNP led by PCPT RENE A HARE, Officer-in-Charge and Concepcion, Iloilo PNP led by PMAJ JONAH M GALICHA, Chief of Police.

The said joint elements of PNP personnel at Barangay Cayus, Pilar, Capiz implemented and effected the order of arrest against Elmer Millares y Escarda and Genery Millares y Villar with Criminal Case No. 2020-9453 issued by Hon. OSCAR LEO S. BILLENA Assisting Judge, Regional Trial Court Branch 66 Barotac Viejo, Iloilo dated July 06, 2020 for the crime of Frustrated Murder with bail bond recommended of Php 200, 000.00 each for their temporary liberty.

Subject persons were under the custody of Pilar PNP for documentation and later properly turned-over to Concepcion PNP. # # #
