The V. Bagasina Sr. Memorial High School Senior Scouts, representing Units 520 and 732-737, officially participated in the 80th Council Scouts Jamboree held at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur. Guided by the timely theme, "Service, Innovation, Scouting for All," the delegation joined hundreds of scouts to strengthen their leadership, resilience, and commitment to community development.
Throughout the event, the Senior Scouts engaged in a rigorous and diverse curriculum designed to sharpen both their survival skills and social consciousness. The jamboree’s core activities were structured into four transformative modules:
Module 1: Climate Actors – Focused on environmental stewardship and disaster risk reduction.
Module 2: Life Crafters – Emphasized vocational skills, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.
Module 3: Cultural Weavers – Celebrated heritage and promoted inclusivity and peacebuilding.
Module 4: Lambak ng Pagsubok – A physical and mental obstacle course testing the scouts' teamwork and grit.
By successfully navigating these challenges, the VBSMHS Senior Scouts demonstrated that scouting remains a vital platform for youth empowerment. Their participation underscores the school’s mission to produce citizens who are not only technically skilled but also deeply rooted in the spirit of service and innovation for the benefit of all.
