The Local Government Unit proudly marks the Reactivation and Oathtaking of the Municipal Youth Officials, a meaningful step in strengthening youth participation in local governance.

Led by the inspiring leadership of Mayor Marivic Solano, the newly reactivated Municipal Youth Officials formally took their oath of office, affirming their commitment to serve, lead, and be active partners in nation-building. Mayor Solano personally administered the oath, encouraging the youth to be voices of integrity, innovation, and positive change in the community.

The LGU also extends its sincere appreciation to SK Federation President Yao Baylon Tormes for his active involvement and support in guiding and uniting the youth leaders toward effective and responsible service.

Over the course of three days, the 20th Pili Summer Youth Camp 2025 brought together our vibrant youth to engage, learn, and grow amidst the challenges of unpredictable weather. Thanks to the unwavering dedication of our Pili Municipal Youth Officials.

This year’s program was filled with meaningful activities—seminars on disaster preparedness, mental health, and drug awareness; cultural nights; youth-oriented competitions; solidarity bonding; and even tree planting to emphasize the importance of sustainability. Each activity was designed to empower our youth and strengthen their roles as future leaders of our community.

A heartfelt thank you goes to:

𝑳𝑶𝑶𝑲 :The Pili Municipal Youth Officials had the honor of attending the 14th Regular Session of the Naga City Youth Sangguniang Panlungsod last April 12. Led by Youth Vice Mayor Hon. Claire Kaye Ranido, alongside Hon. Christine Hazel Olazo and Hon. Justin Carlo Guatchin, the delegation witnessed first-hand the legislative processes of NCYO and shared insights on strengthening youth participation in governance.

The 𝖯𝗂𝗅𝗂 𝖬𝗎𝗇𝗂𝖼𝗂𝗉𝖺𝗅 𝖸𝗈𝗎𝗍𝗁 𝖮𝖿𝖿𝗂𝖼𝗂𝖺𝗅𝗌 (𝖯𝖬𝖸𝖮) recently participated in the 3rd Metro Naga Young Leaders Forum, held at Avenue Plaza Hotel, Naga City. This year’s theme, "Youth for Renewable Energy," emphasized the important role of young leaders in driving sustainable development and promoting renewable energy solutions.

The SK Federation President, Pili Municipal Youth Officials(PMYO), and young legislators, had the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions, workshops, and discussions with policymakers, global experts, and fellow youth leaders. The forum empowered our youth leaders to enhance their leadership skills, broaden their networks, and gain valuable insights into effective solutions for sustainable development, focusing on renewable energy.

We are deeply grateful for the continuous support of LGU-Pili, under the leadership of Mayor Tomas P. Bongalonta Jr., for enabling our youth leaders to be part of this transformative event. This experience not only enhances their leadership competencies but also strengthens their ability to advocate for community-driven solutions in our Municipality.

𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮: 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧-𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙄𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙜𝙤𝙣.

In celebration of Women's Month last March, the Municipal Youth Officials (MYO) of Pili, together with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation and the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), embarked on a successful benchmarking activity in the Province of Sorsogon. From March 6 to 8, 2025, our delegation visited the municipalities of Pilar, Sorsogon Proper, Sorsogon City, Casiguran, and Barcelona, where we had the opportunity to engage with local officials and learn about their gender-sensitive governance practices, youth engagement strategies, and inclusivity initiatives.

Each municipality shared valuable insights into their plans and practices, which are centered around gender equality and youth empowerment. We were graciously accommodated by the respective Gender and Development Focal Persons, who highlighted their successful programs and initiatives. Special thanks to 𝑴𝒂'𝒂𝒎 𝑪𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏e 𝑱𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒏, the Provincial Gender and Development Focal Person, for her support in facilitating our tour and helping us connect with the various focal persons across the different municipalities and cities.

This benchmarking activity is a significant step in strengthening our commitment to progressive youth leadership, gender equality, and participatory governance. We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of the LGU-Pili, under the leadership of 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧 𝙏𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙋. 𝘽𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙖 𝙅𝙧., and the dedicated efforts of 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙡 𝘿𝙡. 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓!

The Pili Youth Summit is a flagship initiative of the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) in partnership with the SK Federation of Pili, youth organizations, and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pili. This program brings together outstanding young minds to address future challenges and propose innovative solutions, emphasizing collaboration and shared goals. Key components include the formulation of the Comprehensive Youth Development Plan, the registration of youth organizations under the National Youth Commission’s Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP), and seminars to equip the youth with essential leadership and development skills.

This year's PILI YOUTH SUMMIT 2025 theme is: ""Empowering Youth: DREAM, ACT, WIN.” It will happen on the 20th day to 21st day of February, 2025 at Bongga Resort, Sagrada, Pili, Camarines Sur starting 8:00 am to 5pm.

To be participated by the Youth Sectors including 26 SK Chairpersons, Existing Youth Organization/Youth Serving Organization, Municipal Youth Official Representatives and the Local Youth Development Office.
