One-Day LTIA Technical Assistance Workshop for Barangay Secretaries

On July 7, 2026, DILG Canaman, under the leadership of MLGOO Virgie Pascual and in coordination with LGU Canaman and Liga ng mga Barangay, and with the technical assistance from Cluster 1 Operations Office, conducted a One-Day LTIA Technical Assistance Workshop at McDonald’s Almeda Highway, Naga City. The event was graced by DILG Provincial Director Ray B. Caceres, CESO V.

The activity was attended by all 24 barangay secretaries of Canaman, Camarines Sur, aiming to equip them with the necessary knowledge for the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA).

The day's program included:
📌A comprehensive LTIA discussion
📌An actual workshop where participants accomplished LTIA forms
📌Presentation of outputs
📌An open forum to address concerns and clarify processes

Resource speakers from the DILG Provincial Office, Cluster Head Engr. Jewrin Novio and LGOO IV Jane Crizelle Bobis, facilitated the discussion and open forum and provided guidance to the participants throughout the activity.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) proudly recognizes the Province of Camarines Sur and its component local government units that successfully passed the 2025 Good Financial Housekeeping (GFH) assessment.

The GFH evaluates the compliance of Local Government Units (LGUs) with accounting and auditing standards, rules, and regulations, as well as their adherence to the Full Disclosure Policy. This recognition highlights our local governments' shared priority of accountability, transparency, and sound financial management in the delivery of public services.

This remarkable achievement underscores the unwavering commitment of our local leaders to uphold the principles of good governance and exemplifies integrity in public financial management. Through responsible stewardship of public resources, these passing LGUs continue to earn the trust and confidence of the communities they serve.

DILG Camarines Sur extends its warmest commendations to our exceptional Local Chief Executives, dedicated Local Finance Committees, Budget Officers, Accountants, Treasurers, and every hardworking individual whose teamwork and brilliance made this milestone possible. Beyond the monthly rankings, the 1st Quarter PRIME Awarding recognizes the Field Officers who demonstrated the most consistent report compliance performance across the entire January to March 2026 period — a cumulative measure of sustained excellence, not just a single month's effort.
