The Gryphon CBSUA Pili Chapter participated in the 2nd Quarter Fire and Earthquake Simulation Drill held on June 18, 2026, to promote preparedness and proper response during emergency situations. The activity allowed participants to review safety procedures and practice the appropriate actions to take during fire and earthquake incidents.

Through the drill, participants strengthened their emergency response skills, teamwork, and awareness, highlighting the importance of preparedness in keeping everyone safe.

The Gryphon Fire Volunteer and Rescue โ€“ CBSUA Pili Chapter proudly received a Plaque of Appreciation from the Local Government Unit of Pili during the celebration of the 71st Foundation Anniversary of the Municipality of Pili. The award was presented in recognition of the organization's unwavering commitment to public service, humanitarian efforts, and community welfare, as well as its valuable contributions to the safety and well-being of the people of Pili. The recognition was formally received by CDRA Erlyn A. Galang on behalf of the organization.

The plaque recognizes the organization's active participation in emergency response operations, disaster preparedness initiatives, rescue missions, storm-related assistance, and various community activities. Composed of dedicated students and young professionals, Gryphon continues to embody the spirit of volunteerism, compassion, and bayanihan through its commitment to serving the community whenever help is needed.
