The Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal, headed by FSSUPT ATTY HYACINTH N GRAGEDA-MIRABEL, CES-WE, DSC, has officially designated ten (10) BFP personnel from Camarines Sur to participate in the 3-Day Outboard Motor (OBM) Operators Course conducted by the 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫 through the Environment, Disaster Management and Emergency Response Office (EDMERO).

The training, scheduled on May 4–6, 2026 at the EDMERO Training Center, aims to enhance the operational capability and readiness of responders in water-based emergencies, particularly in flooding and search and rescue operations.

The selected BFP personnel are expected to gain essential knowledge and skills on the proper operation, handling, maintenance, and safety procedures of outboard motors, further strengthening the Bureau’s disaster response capacity.

This initiative reflects the continued commitment of the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal to develop highly trained and competent personnel, ensuring efficient and reliable emergency services for the people of Camarines Sur.

The Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal, headed by FSSUPT ATTY HYACINTH N GRAGEDA-MIRABEL, CES-WE, DSC, conducted a Zoom meeting focused on affidavit making and case build-up.

The lecture was delivered by FO1 ATTY Nesson Habakkuk N Vibares, who provided valuable insights on proper documentation, legal procedures, and effective case preparation. The activity was attended by all District 1 Chief IIU and Administrative Staff Clerks, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the discussed topics.

This initiative aims to enhance the competence of personnel in handling legal matters, strengthen investigative capabilities, and promote accuracy and professionalism in the preparation of reports and affidavits.

The Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal, under the leadership of FSSUPT ATTY HYACINTH N GRAGEDA-MIRABEL, CES-WE, DSC, successfully conducted the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony and Rank Inspection.

The activity highlights the bureau’s commitment to discipline, unity, and professionalism among personnel. The flag raising ceremony serves as a reminder of patriotism and dedication to public service, while the rank inspection ensures that all members uphold proper grooming, bearing, and adherence to standards.

Through these regular activities, the Office continues to strengthen organizational values, promote accountability, and maintain operational readiness in delivering efficient and reliable fire service to the community.

The Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal of Camarines Sur, headed by FSSUPT ATTY HYACINTH N GRAGEDA-MIRABEL, CES-WE, DSC, awarded Jay-ar A Rivero and Romnick R Baricaua during the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony in recognition of their exemplary service.

For their exemplary dedication and technical expertise as Auto Mechanic Fire Volunteers, they rendered invaluable service through the continuous repair, preventive maintenance, and electrical rewiring of various firetrucks, emergency response vehicles, and station equipment from November 2025 to April 2026, thereby ensuring their operational readiness and reliability during emergency operations.

They likewise extended their assistance in facility improvement initiatives, including station beautification, construction support works, and retrieval of serviceable spare parts for reuse, thereby promoting resource maximization and enhanced station functionality.

Moreover, their selfless support to other fire stations within Partido District significantly strengthened inter-station preparedness and reinforced the collective capability of Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) units in protecting lives and properties.

Their dedication and commitment reflect the true spirit of volunteerism and public service.

During the same Monday Flag Raising Ceremony and Troop Information & Education (TI&E), the speaker, SFO1 Zacarias I Padayao, discussed service, goals, and purpose, emphasizing the reasons why personnel choose to serve in the Bureau of Fire Protection, and highlighting the importance of dedication, commitment, and public service in the fire service profession.

The Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, through the Environment Disaster Management and Emergency Response Office (EDMERO), conducted an Amphibian Training on April 27–28, 2026 at Digital Transformation Center, Capitol Complex, Cadlan, Pili.

This amphibian training aimed to enhance the operational capability and readiness of personnel in responding to emergencies in both land and water environments, particularly during flooding and search and rescue operations.

The Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal Camarines Sur, headed by FSSUPT ATTY HYACINTH N GRAGEDA-MIRABEL, CES-WE, DSC, sent 10 BFP personnel from across Camarines Sur to participate in the training facilitated by EDMERO. These personnel are actively involved in disaster preparedness and response efforts and are part of the agency’s deployable emergency response teams.

The amphibian training involved hands-on learning on how to properly operate the amphibious vehicle, including its functions, safety features, and practical uses in disaster response scenarios such as water rescue, transport of personnel, and delivery of essential supplies.

This initiative highlights the continued commitment to strengthening inter-agency coordination and enhancing the capability of responders in saving lives during emergencies.

The Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal of Camarines Sur, headed by FSSUPT ATTY HYACINTH N GRAGEDA-MIRABEL, CES-WE, DSC, successfully conducted its traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony and Training, Information and Education (TI&E), reinforcing discipline, unity, and service among personnel.

The activity was highlighted by an inspiring message from FO1 Justine Zedrick C Peralta, who shared reflections from the timeless piece Desiderata. The message emphasized the importance of staying calm amidst chaos, acting with integrity, and maintaining inner peace—values that strongly resonate with the noble profession of every Bureau of Fire Protection personnel.

Just as firefighters face emergencies with courage and composure, the principles of Desiderata remind us to serve with humility, respect, and compassion for others. In the line of duty, where challenges and risks are ever-present, maintaining a clear mind and a steadfast spirit is essential in protecting lives and property.

This initiative ensures the readiness, coordination, and safety of personnel in their respective areas of responsibility, as well as the protection of the public during this solemn season.
