Mandate
Presidential Decree 198 or “The Provincial Water Utilities Act of 1973” (PD 198)
According to Sec.5 of Title II of PD 198, the purpose of forming a local water district include the following:

(a) Acquiring, installing improving, maintaining and operating water supply and distribution systems for domestic industrial municipal and agricultural uses for residents and lands within the boundar

ies of such districts,

(b) Providing, maintaining and operating wastewater collection, treatment and disposal facilities, and

(c.) Conducting such other functions and operations incidental to water resources development, utilization and disposal within such districts, as are necessary or incidental to said purpose.

PAHAYAG AT PAALALA SA PUBLIKO PATUNGKOL SA NON-REVENUE WATER (NRW)

Ang Non-Revenue Water (NRW) ay tumutukoy sa tubig na dumadaloy sa PiWaD distribution system ngunit hindi sinisingil o ipinapasa sa publiko dahil sa mga pumutok o nasirang linya/tubo at commercial losses tulad sira/lumang metro, illegal connections, at iba pa. Nais linawin ng Pililla Water District (PiWaD) na walang ipinapasa na system loss charge sa publiko katulad ng sa Meralco. Kung ano lamang po ang mismong nag-reflect sa inyong water meter, yun lamang ang inyong babayaran dahil ang NRW ay itinuturing na operational loss na buong pinapasan ng Water District nang walang ipinapataw na kahit singko sa mga concessionaires. Dahil ang nasasayang na tubig ay nakakaapekto sa pressure at sapat na suplay para sa lahat, nanawagan ang PiWaD sa publiko na maging proactive imbes na maging reactive, at maging bahagi ng solusyon imbes na magpakalat ng maling impormasyon sa pamamagitan ng agarang pag-report ng anumang nakitang leaks o sira sa mga linya sa aming Customer Service Hotline: 0935-2469417 o sa pamamagitan ng pagpapadala ng mensahe sa opisyal na page: Local Water District of Pililla.
