The Slaughterhouse Operations Division (SOD) of the Municipality of Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro proudly announces the successful issuance of its National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) License to Operate (LTO) under the AA Category.

This achievement is a testament to the collective effort, dedication, and commitment of the entire SOD team, whose hard work and continuous efforts have contributed to raising the standards of our slaughterhouse operations.

This milestone would not have been possible without the full support of the Municipal Administration, as well as the assistance and cooperation of the various concerned offices and stakeholders who contributed to the fulfillment of the requirements and improvement of our facilities, systems, and processes.

We likewise extend our sincere appreciation to the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) for its continuous guidance, technical assistance, evaluation, and valuable recommendations throughout the accreditation process.

More than an accreditation, this is a shared achievement of everyone who worked behind the scenes and believed in the goal of providing safe, hygienic, and quality-assured meat products for the people of Pinamalayan.

📍 CONTINUOUS JOINT INSPECTION & MONITORING

Patuloy ang Bantay Karne Task Force sa regular na joint inspection and monitoring sa mga meat shops sa Bayan ng Pinamalayan. 🥩🐖🐄🐓

Isinagawa muli ang monthly inspection and monitoring kahapon, September 8, 2026, upang masiguro na ang mga ibinebentang karne ay dumaan sa tamang meat inspection at sumusunod sa mga umiiral na rules and regulations.

Hindi lang ito tungkol sa enforcement—ito ay para sa kaligtasan at proteksyon ng ating mga mamimili. 🤝

Maraming salamat sa mga meat shop owners na patuloy na nakikiisa at sumusunod sa mga alituntunin.

📌 BANTAY KARNE TASK FORCE | CONTINUING MONITORING AND ENFORCEMENT

🗓️September 1, 2026

As part of the continuing efforts of the Bantay Karne Task Force to ensure the safety, quality, and proper regulation of meat products in the Municipality of Pinamalayan, another monitoring and inspection activity was conducted for the proper implementation of existing rules and regulations on the sale and distribution of newly slaughtered meat.

The activity was conducted following previous monitoring and information dissemination activities, wherein meat vendors and concerned stakeholders were reminded of the applicable rules and regulations and were given proper guidance regarding compliance.

During the latest inspection, violations were noted and the necessary enforcement action was undertaken. The concerned meat was confiscated and subsequently rendered unfit for human consumption and properly condemned/disposed of under the supervision of the Task Force, with witnesses present.

The Bantay Karne Task Force emphasizes that these activities are not intended to embarrass or penalize individuals, but to protect consumers and ensure that meat being sold to the public complies with the applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

We encourage all meat vendors, sellers, and stakeholders to cooperate with the authorities and strictly observe the established regulations.

Patuloy ang Bantay Karne Task Force ng Bayan ng Pinamalayan sa pagsasagawa ng joint inspection and monitoring activities upang matiyak na ang mga karne na ibinebenta sa ating bayan ay ligtas, maayos ang pag-handle at pag-iimbak, dumaan sa tamang meat inspection, at sumusunod sa mga umiiral na batas at regulasyon.

Ang patuloy na monitoring na ito ay bahagi ng ating pagsisikap na mapangalagaan ang kalusugan at kaligtasan ng bawat Pinamalayeño at matiyak ang responsableng pagbebenta ng karne sa ating komunidad.

Patuloy po tayong makiisa, maging mapagmatyag, at mag-report ng anumang kahina-hinalang pagbebenta o hindi maayos na pag-handle ng karne sa mga kinauukulang tanggapan.

Para sa ligtas na karne, ligtas na pagkain, at ligtas na Pinamalayan. 🥩🤝

📢 ALAMIN NATIN: BAKIT MAHALAGA ANG MEAT INSPECTION?

May ilan pong nagtatanong kung bakit hinihikayat ng Bantay Karne Task Force ang publiko na i-report ang mga naglalako ng sariwang karne.

Nililinaw po namin na ang layunin ng Bantay Karne Task Force ay hindi hadlangan ang kabuhayan ng sinuman, kundi tiyakin na ang karne na ibinebenta sa ating mga mamamayan ay ligtas, dumaan sa tamang inspeksyon, at sumusunod sa umiiral na batas at mga regulasyon.

Bago maibenta ang sariwang karne, ito ay dapat:

✅ Magmula sa awtorisado at rehistrado o akreditadong slaughterhouse;

✅ Sumailalim sa ante-mortem at post-mortem meat inspection ng awtorisadong Meat Inspector;

✅ May kaukulang Meat Inspection Certificate at iba pang kinakailangang dokumento;

✅ Ma-transport at maibenta sa paraang napoprotektahan ang karne laban sa alikabok, insekto, at iba pang maaaring pagmulan ng kontaminasyon.

📌 Mahalaga ring malaman na hindi lahat ng karne na nagmumula sa ibang bayan ay maaaring ipagbili saanman. Ang pagdadala at pagbebenta ng karne sa ibang lokalidad ay may mga alituntunin at dokumentong dapat sundin alinsunod sa Meat Inspection Code, NMIS regulations, at iba pang umiiral na batas.

Ang pagre-report ng publiko ay hindi nangangahulugang may paglabag na agad. Ang lahat ng ulat ay dadaan muna sa beripikasyon at inspection ng Bantay Karne Task Force bago magsagawa ng kaukulang aksyon.

Kung may mapansin po kayong kahina-hinalang pagbebenta ng sariwang karne o may pagdududa sa pagsunod nito sa mga umiiral na regulasyon, maaari po ninyo itong i-report sa inyong Barangay o sa Bantay Karne Task Force.

Ang kaligtasan ng pagkaing inilalagay natin sa hapag ng bawat pamilyang Pinamalayeño ay pananagutan nating lahat.
