𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐏𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐨, 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐧, 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮

Last August 30, 2026, the 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐚 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐨 (𝐊𝐊𝐃𝐀𝐓) – 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐧 successfully conducted a 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦 at Eco Farm Resort, Brgy Poblacion and at the Mangoto Covered Court, Brgy. Mangoto, Pinamungajan, Cebu.

The activity was conducted in collaboration with the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐏𝐍𝐏), under the direct supervision of 𝐏𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐉. 𝐁𝐚ñ𝐞𝐬, 𝐎𝐈𝐂, and in partnership with the 𝐒𝐊 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. Poblacion and Brgy. Mangoto, headed by SK Chairperson Amed Joshua Cerna and SK Chairperson Reo Jay L. Dejito.

The symposium featured youth-led discussions on:
-What drugs are, their classifications, and who may be at risk
-Reasons to avoid drugs and signs of drug abuse
-Laws and PNP efforts against illegal drugs
-The impact of drugs on individuals, families, and communities
-The importance of awareness, prevention, and early intervention

Together, we empowered our youth with knowledge to make informed and responsible choices for a safer and healthier community.

Prevention starts with awareness. Change starts with the youth.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Drug Symposium in Brgy. Buhingtubig & Tajao, Pinamungajan, Cebu

In line with Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) – Pinamungajan, together with the Philippine National Police (PNP) led by OIC PCPT Michael John J. Bañes, conducted a Drug Awareness Symposium in Brgy. Buhingtubig and Brgy. Tajao, Pinamungajan, Cebu.

This was made possible with the full support of the SK Councils of both barangays, headed by SK Chairperson Ms. Razel Angel D. Ferras and SK Chairperson Ms. Elizabeth Soraya Welte.

The symposium aimed to educate the youth about the dangers of illegal drugs, their effects on individuals and communities, and the value of making wise and responsible decisions for a safer and healthier community.

Awareness is the first step to prevention. Change begins with the youth.
Let’s stand together against illegal drugs and work toward a drug-free future.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Drug Symposium in Brgy. Binabag & Tutay, Pinamungajan, Cebu

As part of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) – Pinamungajan successfully conducted a Drug Awareness Symposium in collaboration with the Philippine National Police (PNP) under the direct supervision of PCPT Michael John J. Bañes, OIC, at Brgy. Binabag and Brgy. Tutay, Pinamungajan, Cebu.

The activity was made possible through the support and partnership of the respective SK Councils, headed by SK Chairperson Ms. Naomi Tecson and SK Chairperson Mr. Harry Talaid.

The symposium provided the youth with meaningful insights that deepened their understanding of the dangers of illegal drugs, their impact on individuals and communities, and the importance of making informed and responsible choices toward a safer and healthier community.

Prevention starts with awareness. Change starts with the youth. Together, let us stand against illegal drugs and build a drug-free future. 💙

Today, August 22, 2026, the 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐚 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐨 (𝐊𝐊𝐃𝐀𝐓) – 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐧 successfully conducted a 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦 at the 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭, Brgy. Anislag, Pinamungajan, Cebu.

The activity was conducted in collaboration with the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐏𝐍𝐏), under the direct supervision of 𝐏𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐉. 𝐁𝐚ñ𝐞𝐬, 𝐎𝐈𝐂, and in partnership with the 𝐒𝐊 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐠, headed by 𝐒𝐊 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐆. 𝐋𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨.

The symposium featured meaningful discussions led by the youth leaders of KKDAT–Pinamungajan:

KKDAT–Pinamungajan President Reymart Fajardo discussed what drugs are, who may be considered a drug user, the reasons why drugs should be avoided, and the different classifications of drugs.

KKDAT–Pinamungajan Vice President, Rica Gellane discussed the laws and law-enforcement efforts against illegal drugs, the role of these measures in combating crime, and the effects of illegal drugs on the community.

KKDAT-Brgy. Anislag President, Richard Silva discussed the reasons why people may turn to drugs, common signs of drug abuse, and the importance of early awareness, prevention, and intervention.

The activity brought together young people and community advocates to deepen their understanding of the dangers of illegal drugs, their effects on individuals and communities, and the vital role of the youth in building a safer and healthier society.

Through meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and strengthened awareness, we are reminded that prevention starts with awareness, and change starts with us.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Drug Symposium at CTU - Pinamungajan Campus

Today, the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) successfully conducted a Drug Awareness Symposium at Cebu Technological University – Pinamungajan Campus, in collaboration with the Philippine National Police (PNP), under the direct supervision of PCPT Michael John J. Bañes OIC, conducted a Drug Awareness Campaign for the students of Cebu Technological University (CTU)–Pinamungajan Campus, headed by Campus Director Dr. Redjie D. Arcadio, at the School Covered Court, Pandacan, Pinamungajan, Cebu.

The symposium brought together students and advocates to deepen awareness about the dangers of illegal drugs, their effects on individuals and communities, and the important role of the youth in preventing drug abuse.

Through meaningful discussions, real-life insights, and shared experiences, we are reminded that prevention starts with awareness, and change starts with us.

Together, let us continue to stand united in promoting a safe, healthy, and drug-free community. 💙

Together with youth leaders across Pinamungajan, we take the first step toward becoming informed, responsible, and empowered advocates of voter education. Through a Whole-of-Community Approach, we build a generation that leads with integrity and makes every vote count.

The youth of 𝗞𝗞𝗗𝗔𝗧 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗻 proudly participated in the #𝗬𝗢𝗥𝗣𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝟭𝟬𝟭 𝗪𝗲𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿: 𝙐𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙔𝙊𝙍𝙋 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 organized by the National Youth Commission (NYC).

As advocates of youth empowerment, we remain committed to enhancing our knowledge, strengthening our leadership, and equipping ourselves with the tools needed to better serve our community. Every opportunity to learn is another step toward becoming more effective leaders and responsible citizens.
