Yesterdayโs Leadership Training and Teambuilding marked a meaningful milestone for the Student Body Organizationโone that celebrated growth, service, and the spirit of leadership.
The morning session was dedicated to enriching talks and lessons on leadership, reminding our aspiring leaders that true leadership is rooted in humility, dedication, responsibility, and a genuine heart to serve. In the afternoon, the atmosphere shifted to lively teambuilding activities that strengthened camaraderie, trust, and cooperation among our young leaders.
During the event, the nomination for the next SBO President was also conducted, where Matt Janus Limpiado and Yhumi Sugisawa were nominated.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the facilitators from the LYDO-CAPDEV Team, led by Kevin Abella Paslon , together with Harry Talaid , Reo Jay Labasan Dejito , Joperson Juarez Algabre , Mc Rzr Ally Undalok , and Marnel Leones, for guiding and inspiring our participants throughout the day. We are also grateful to our supportive administrators, and our organizing team led by our Learner Activities Animator, Ms. Lucy May Arnado together with our SBO officers whose dedication made this activity possible.
As the current batch of officers slowly prepares to pass the torch, this moment becomes even more meaningfulโa reminder that leadership is not about holding a position, but about continuing a mission of service.
Monicanians, may we all continue to embody servant leadership, carrying forward the values of social responsibility, collaboration, and service for the good of our school community.
Words: Kiezer Adrianne Villarin | SBO President
