Pursuant to the Department’s mandate to promote adolescent and youth development, the DILG disseminates the “𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟴” for the guidance and information of all DILG Regional and Field Offices.

Developed by the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗖𝗣𝗗) together with the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 pursuant to 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟰𝟭, 𝘀. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭, the CAP adopts a whole-of-government approach in addressing the multifaceted factors behind adolescent pregnancies.

Anchored on the vision of nurturing well-informed, empowered, healthy, and responsible adolescents, the CAP highlights five key strategic areas: Reproductive Health Education, access to RH and social services, preventive and protective measures, socioeconomic and social protection interventions, and child and youth participation and development.

⚠️ 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 ⚠️

The Department of the Interior and Local Government – Regional Office IX warns the public against individuals or groups illegally using the name of DILG, its officials, and fake communications to extort money from LGUs, local officials, and private individuals.

DILG IX 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 authorize any person or entity to collect money, “facilitation fees,” or project kickbacks in exchange for government transactions, approvals, or interventions.

We strongly urge everyone to:
✔️ Verify suspicious communications through official DILG IX channels
✔️ Report extortion attempts to law enforcement authorities
✔️ Refuse and document any fraudulent demands

Let us remain vigilant and help protect our communities from scams and illegal activities.

🚫 Government employees are now prohibited from engaging in ANY FORM OF GAMBLING.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) issued Resolution No. 2600111, which bans government officials and employees from participating in gambling activities—whether in person or online, and regardless of location or time.

Prohibited acts include:

🎰 Entering or staying in casinos and gambling establishments
💻 Engaging in online gambling such as online casinos, e-bingo, and e-sabong
🎲 Participating in or organizing any other gambling activity

The policy aims to strengthen integrity in public service and uphold the principle that public office is a public trust.

The resolution was published today in The Philippine Star and will take effect 15 days after publication.
