In celebration of the Coral Triangle Day and World Ocean Day, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region 8 through the Conservation and Development Division warmly invites all interested youth to participate in the upcoming Online Open Forum entitled:

โ€œDiscovering the Beauty of the Regionโ€™s National Integrated Protected Area System (NIPAS) Marine Protected Areasโ€

This activity aims to raise awareness among youth leaders, students and environmental advocates participants on the importance of marine conservation and the vital role of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) in conserving marine biodiversity, strengthening coastal resilience, and promoting sustainable ocean stewardship.

The online open forum also seeks to encourage active youth participation in environmental conservation initiatives and deepen appreciation for the protection and sustainable management of our oceans and coastal ecosystems.

Join us in this meaningful and informative discussion as we celebrate our oceans and marine heritage through learning, collaboration, and environmental action. Participants can also look forward to exciting online games, interactive activities, and interesting prizes awaiting lucky winners.
